finally i will do my first english cast on thursday and i am happy to announce that Benjamin "Demuslim" Baker will join up with me(herointerviewer) and gonna cast this special with me together from my place.
I think it will be a great event even when my english is not the best but i hope Demuslim will help out;) I guess i can do some nice interviews on Skype with the players who attend at the finals.

Yeah, this is what stopped me from laddering and made me come here to find out about this. Can't join a game if you try, can't log in if you log out.
B-net fail.. Blizzard, once again you prove that B-net won´t cut it. Please PLEASE make it so that we can play "offline". It´s emberassing. I cringe everytime i wattch a stream from some tournament and b-net screws things up.
Offline play wouldn't necessarily help here as it's not a lan event, I guess they could try to circumvent that with a 3rd party virtual lan program but I digress.
ESL and MLG both had battlenet issues, both with lag and with game drops. It's mind boggling that Blizzard can't put in a lan feature.

same problem here and i never had any problems with takes home stream so far... i even payed for premium and now i cant even watch the free stream

People often forget their native language when they have to speak in front of an audience, when it's a foreign one it's much harder.
Of course, people are quite different. Personally I seem to be really confident when I have to talk in front of a lot of people, even when I do it in English (which is not my native language) but I seem to forget everything in a noisy environment.
Same for me as for the poor souls above. I got the MLG stream to work in 32bit IE last weekend with Octoshape but now nothing works. Restarted everything a few times, tried in IE, FF and Chrome but just the same error (Stream not found).
Reinstalled Octoshape, and made sure it's running. Bleh...
...if I have to see that Männertrip promo one more time, I might kill someone...

i've done the same exact thing... your not alone... bunch of post on esl forums on this... thou i cant read any of it... nothing seems to work... and they seem to have no answers for it... restream is our only hope...

If you get stream not found, give permissions to the site by disabling noscript and adblock for esl websites. Worked for me. Cancel that. I can see only the ads but the stream is still not to be found. Going to activate adblock again :D

I had problems with the WCG finals and octoshape and ended up just reinstalling my browser. A bit drastic i know but it worked. Oh and I am using chrome.

It doesn't work in Firefox for me so I have to use Chrome. Octoshape is some funny software.
what doesnt make sense is, that the real studio stream works absolutly fine for me, in all browsers. right now. it also requieres octoshape. i cant understand why this issue only occurs on takes stream and why it works for some ppl and for others not. it even worked for me on all other days when dennis streamed and i didnt change anything. today is the first time i get this shit -.-
You've all probably figured that out but when I had problems with Octoshape it turned out that I didn't have it on. Since then I simply launch it manually and then press play on the stream.
It worked for me with firefox after some tries. Clicked on play a few times and tryed reopen the browers. Somehow takes streams always need a few trys till they start for me but then they work fine.

You're on the wrong stream. Take, if you can see this, please update the op to have the relevant link, too many people are going to esl default stream and raging cause they're just seeing ads all the time.

we found the cause of the problem and we are working on a fix. unfortunately i cant tell you how long that will take.
as soon as i have additional information i'll post them here.
If bnet is back I would assume that they'll try to get the tournament restarted as 2 hours isn't that huge of a delay in a tournament that would've lasted several hours anyway. I guess we'll see.

lol honestly the 3 reaper, 2 rax no addons.. he should have wondered where all the gas was going. Very nice timing on the build by bratok and it was not all in, he had the expo coming and was transitioning in to standard TvZ

Demuslim is an awesome caster. He should definately pursue that angle when not playing. His analysis is razor sharp (because he is an awesome player). I especially love the fact that he knows each players style of play and comments based on that.
for you guys having problems with the stream: I switched from Firefox to Internet Explorer and it works. I'm not a fan of IE, but at least I can watch the stream.
I just wanna say that this is absolutely awesome, not only are Take and Demuslim absolutely awesome, it's also the whole idea of two casters being together in one place with a webcam/stream setup that's great - private, friendly atmosphere, much more personal than a skype connection. Take getting up and going to the fridge in the background to get Demuslim and him a new beer, that's awesome! :D Thanks!
That made waiting around for like 4 or so hours so worth it, absolutely amazing. Socke is probably my favorite player to spectate and Bratok would be if I played terran. Just incredible.
Lmao this is the weirdest stream I've ever seen... Demuslim and Takesen are casting ESL finals from Takesen's living room while drinking beers, and Takesen's girlfriend is like cooking or doing dishes in the background. Bizarre!

Screw this, I tried to get this stream working on Firefox, Opera, and Internet Explorer (32 and 64bit) about 5 times. The advertisement of course works but nothing else. I even restarted my PC and what not. Is Dennis forced to use fucking Octoshape duo to some ESL agreements? If not a ustream version would be really welcome.

Ye I fully agree I even like this more than the shows in the ESL studio lot of fun to relax, get a beer yourself and watch this stream.
