This is GAMING. We go by gamer handles, and we don't wear suits. The only time that suits have not screamed "trying too hard to impress the adults" was at the Atlantic City venue, and even there the suits only fit the occasion in an ironic way.

Anyone else notice that Idra complains a lot about how casters portray players, but turns around and absolutely crushes his peers?. I mean tonight he said a guy was "Eye Cancer".

I think he can be a really sarcastic person, and you gotta not take everything so seriously from him, and see it for its humor!

The uniforms at Red Bull were trash and they were a step backwards for casters in general. A lot of the casters have looked just fine in suits/dress shirts/ties, there was no reason to dress them up in terrible short sleeve collared shirts that looked like what was worn in middle schools about 10 years ago.

Has this been going on for long now? Can't be just because of the Day9 friend invite at the Red Bull, right?

Incontrol likes to poke fun of people who he considers actually very close friends (like Artosis, for example), and I assume this is a kind of "come back, Sean, or face the endless stream of jokes about you" type of thing. In fact, who hasn't Incontrol got under the gun at some period? Nony - check, JP - check, Idra - check, Scoots - check, etc. inControl hating Day9 these days? That sarcasm at the start of the show was pretty evident that he's not a big fan. Has this been going on for long now? There is no hating, he is mocking the people who freak out that the casters and pro's we all know and love actually have a life apart from entertaining us.

I don't know about you but I wear suits all the time. That's just what people usually do when they want to represent themselves in a professional manner.

These things are part of what keeps the social stigma surrounding professional gaming going. Calling yourself by your given name and dressing well is not snobby or elitist. Unfortunately dressing like a grown man is not common among US youth. It's not hard to make the minimal effort to wear well-fitting clothing. And wtf, I sure as fuck don't dress to impress adults. I am an adult. I believe that the manner by which I project myself to others matters quite a bit
