Spirit_moon (captain) from wc3 - hes God incarnate in RTS... give him 2 or 3 months after launch, this guy will lead you to victory, 5th race in wc3, I believe he'll be the xel-naga of SC2.. his innovation of strategies can rival that of boxer - having first hand experience with him from wc3, i know that he is genuinely a nice guy and has good leadership qualities from mentoring me short-term.

Sen - I have never seen anybody use 6 lings as effectively as this kid, his micro is good, even with "expendible units" such as lings...

Tester - His protoss is extremely solid and innovative. Let's not get into his pro-asian micro....

brat_ok - this kid's Terran is very innovative, the times i have met him on the battlefield were definately scary...

myself - hey, its a dream team right? of course i would want to be a part of it. while i certainly am not arrogant or narcisistic enough to say that i am better or as good as these guys, i have certainly "held my own" against him in custom and ladder games with top-tier players... besides, even if i lose, i would have all the knowledge and experience to learn from with this team... it would be an awesome experience

Sen - Great play in the tourneys he was in throughout the beta to me he looked like the best zerg in the beta, debatable best player.

Tester - Also great play, especially in the TL invitational, debatable best protoss of beta or best player. Also he would be my captain because of his experience as a coach

Maka- Debatable best terran of beta

White_Ra - Great player throughout the beta with many quality finishes including the HDH win, some would say he was best player of beta.

Idra - Came down to him or Dimaga as they are both great zergs but I don’t like cheaters (Dimaga TSL)

Maka(t) - Solid macro play backed up by the ability to cheese effectively at a moments notice.

Pancreas(t) - Did you see what this guy did to Cool with ghosts? If you did you'd understand why hes on my all terran dream team.

QXC(t, captain) - This guy does terrible terrible damage and he does it a lot. Its hard to look at the upcoming tourney brackets and not see his name everywhere, this player wont leave you hanging.

Brat_Ok(t) - Every team needs an Ivan Drago

LzGamer(t) - For sticking to his guns in the tvz mech debate. I <3 you LZ!

Coach - Hwanni: His experience back the eStro team magnament, as well as his hardcore playing on the beta, cold be great on a team.

Tester - The best Beta player so far, and the strongest protoss player out there.

White-Ra - He almost arrived the finals in any tournament where he played on, and won the HDH invitational, he deserves this place.

Sen - Amazing micro magnament, able to keep the pressure all the time and ride on it, great zerg player .

Maka - Comming from WC3 really strong terran player, and I would say Lucifron too, if he would keep playing nowadays ,inactive in the last beta phases.

WhiteRa - Most consistend player of the beta imo

Dimaga - Best Zerg i've seen so far imo

Tester - maybe the best sc2 player atm

TLO - Nice streak of him at the end of the beta

Idra - living as pro gamer in korea.... "good" chances to improve to one of the best players (eventhough he is already very good)

1. White-Ra
One of the most consistent and solid players of the beta. Always placing high in tournaments and preforming with a variety of good builds. Has taken games off all the best players.
2. Cool[Fou] (Fruitseller)
One of the strongest asian zergs around winning the " Kaspersky World Cup" where he beat dimaga in the finals among other good players.
3. Sen (Captain.)
Proven he is an absolute beast and imo the best player of sc2 right now defeating people such as TLO with creative and agressive style, but also showing amazing defensive capabilties. Versatile and wins a lot to prove it. Also extremely intelligent. Doesn't blindly play agressive or defensive he knows what he's doing.
4. TheLittleOne
Performs well but not quite the best of the other players, still shows incredible potential with his ability to play all races and come up with interesting [not just all-in stuff, solid, thought out a lot of planning] builds.
5. TesteR
Crushing faces right now. Although i think he was knocked out by Haypro, he demolished White-Ra and Idra with solid yet creative builds to win the recent TL tournaments.

Close but no Cigar:
Idra:
Solid but shows little interesting play and tends to lose to the current top players, even if he can destroy lesser ones.
Dimaga:
Amazing player but seems a little inconsistent and sometimes just tries some early game build like burrow roach or baneling bust or other styles that are cool but never seem to work out.
Huk:
Gets good results but it never seems like he is an amazing player himself. Usually using really strong builds such as void rays or DTs on blistering sands and seems to catch his opponents offguard. The American version of Naniwa.
Jinro:
Still seems to be experimenting to find good styles for him and also seems to get nerve problems in important games.
Nazgul; Really solid but seems to be less active in placing highly in tournaments.
Brat_OK: Looks to be improving but I didn't seem him play enough to be sure.
Nony: Hasn't played enough yet and it seems mechanical play is a bit trickier to get down when the games still new.

Idra - I love his play and how hes already at 150 supply by the time his opponent is just reaching 100 supply, plus he kinda looks like my sister's boyfriend.

Sen - He is a ridiculous zerg from what i saw in the Europe vs Asia showmatch. He is a korean in a taiwanese body.

Tester (Captain) - He is extremely elite. Best protoss out there. He also is the captain of his own team so he has experience

White-Ra - Alot of experience. He wins everything in the western scene.

TLO - I think Maka is overrated, and qxc, cauthonluck, and jinro aren't that high caliber atm. TLO is awesome so he is here.

Ah there it is, the first guy who posted a team that I would also consider my dream team - followed by BiG's team because deciding who to pick between the trio of dimaga/idra/sen is really really hard cause they are all so good. Maybe I'd also just choose against dimaga cause of the TSL thing. I think idra has achieved the least out of those three so far? (cant think of much other than HD/Husky (which admittedly was kinda the biggest one though, certainly out of the non-korean/chinese ones)) but if we think about the future he's the one living on a pro team and his skill will increase way faster once other CJ players start playing SC2.
Also I agree about Maka, I dont like his style that much and the way he loses games because of overly aggressive playstyle. I don't think people will consider him the best terran for that much longer. (I might turn out to be wrong of course)
Something that would be a problem in this team though would be picking a captain, wouldnt exactly be great to have a captain that doesnt speak the language that any of the others do.

If it was just about players I like the most because they just seem likeable/their playstyle is fun it would be
+ Show Spoiler +

TLO (obvious reasons, also we live in the same city)
Nony (PHOENIXES)
Sen (such a baller ingame and such a nice person judging by what I've seen/heard of him)
Jinro (Quite possibly the player who cares the least about what the current trends are and just does his own fun to watch style)
Nazgul (TL godfather, sick sentry usage)
Wow, that wasnt even on purpose that 4/5 of these are from TL.
Hah thats pretty funny.

I'd be happier to do this when SC2 is not in beta, and already has well developed competitive scene. But here's what I'd pick as of Beta Phase 1:
[image loading] Sen [image loading] - he has merciless zerg style, which is so efficient that makes very simple builds look unbeatable.
[image loading] Maka [image loading] - proven his top terran status on the Asian server, where zerg dominates.
[image loading] Tester [image loading] - he has demonstrated his world rank in a few tournaments, where he's been crushing other great players with ease.
[image loading] TLO [image loading] - with desire to experiment and skills to make it worth, he has yet to develop in the future years, and he'd be very helpful teammate to prepare original strats with.
[image loading] White-Ra [image loading] ([image loading]) - experienced and resilient, he never gives up and seeks the victory against all odds, which is invaluable quality for a captain to bring to a team.

Tester- Captain- Very strong Protoss player who was impressive in the TLI. Captain because he has coaching experience with ESTRO.

Cool- Possibly the top Korean player with the victory in the 17173 World Cup. Very powerful and aggressive playstyle.

Sen- Impressive Zerg with victories over White-ra and TLO. Nice creative 1 base Muta play.

Maka- Powerful terran player who can use multiple styles. Has done well in numerous tournaments and could be the best terran player atm.

White-ra- Impressive victories in the HDH and other tournaments. Combines a strong macro style with occasional cheese to catch opponents off guard. Lots of experience that will help him.

Captain: Tester - Arguably the strongest player in the world and definitely the strongest protoss. He was an eStro A-team Protoss and lives amongst some of the biggest names in the sc2 beta (thewind, cool, ensnare to name a few). His first US tournament appearance in the Gosu Coaching weekly gave us a peak at the sheer power of the top Asia players. He dropped 0 games on his way to the top easily smashing Slush who is considered top 3 zerg in the USA. Later his dominance through the Altitude Invitational showed he is even a step above the biggest name in US/EU whitera. I really doubt he will be knocked off of his protoss throne unless another strong scbw player cough*Sangho*cough takes Sc2 seriously.

Cool- Probably the best zerg in the world and also a contender for the strongest player overall. He took the 17173.com Cup 1st place finishing over the biggest names in the world. Another powerful SCBW progamer turned sc2 player. His dismantling of Maka in the 17173.com semifinal made me a huge fan and his clutch 4-3 victory over Dimaga in the final showed great will.

White-ra- Almost certainly the best EU player around and winner of several tournaments. He is super popular among the foreign scene and overall just a baller.

Dimaga- Best EU zerg and another force to be reckoned with. He showed he is not far behind the Asia scene by falling only in the final of the 17173.com 3-4 to Cool. He is also one of the very few Idra considered to be legitimately good in scbw as he mentioned in his TSL interview.

TLO- Lastly is our liquid superstar thelittleone. Creative at heart and an overall dynamic player. He is able to keep pace with all the matchups as a random player and shows astounding games everytime he plays. My biggest thoughts are on what is to become of this beast once he actually concentrates on a single race.

Other Thoughts:- I really wanted Idra in here but I didn't want 2 Asia server zergs. I kept Dimaga in because of his 17173.com performance. No terrans since none of them have really impressed me that much. I haven't seen Ensnare play and all I've seen from Maka is stupid 1 base stuff. Things along the lines of 3 barracks marine + medivac and 2 barracks + tank. When they get defended he loses.

Tester deserves the respect he is getting here, but he came second to Cool in a PlayXP tournament (the largest offline tournament to date) and Cool also won the World Cup. So, he deserves some more recognition.

not surprising that the two players who had (have?) progamer licenses are the best

Sen - Every team needs a zerg and Sen is the best zerg and maybe the best player right now so an obvious choice for me.
DeMusliM - One of the best terrans with a great potential of being the best. I'm probably being biased because he's also English but I'd pick him because, as he recently decided to move to Germany, he's obviously deadly serious about becoming professional in his gaming career.
White-Ra - The most popular European and maybe the best protoss player in the world. Extremely mannered and experienced so again an easy choice.
TesTeR - He attended a few top Korean events and was incredibly successful. He's the most impressive Korean protoss and arguably the best protoss in the world.
TLO (Captain) - The man's a genious. Strategically superior to most top players, his knowledge would help the team so much. He's also extremely popular in Europe so he's the perfect morale booster and he's one of my favourite players of the beta.
