Talk strategy, watch reps and give tips. Play 1v1 to help them improve. My main is Z, but I'm probably capable of rolling silver leaguers with an offrace. I have TS/Xfire but I rarely use it, because I find it quite awkward to talk to strangers online using those kind of programs in English. I prefer just typing it all out. My proposed solution + Show Spoiler + I'm trying to create a system where anyone who wants coaching (whether or not they are willing to pay) can find the person who is able and willing to coach, given that this coach exists on TL. I'd like to create a new (better organized) thread, with only coaches posting their information. They will post their fee, which will be a proxy for their opportunity cost. Being able to compare their fees with other coaches will ensure that the fees are a good proxy. Beginners looking for help will be able to search the thread for a coach they like. This should solve communication issues. If a mod is willing to sticky the thread in the strategy section, it would work the same as the practice partner thread. Please review and discuss. I don't know if my suspicions are correct or if I'm wasting people's time. I agree, i guess that most people here a looking for trainers. At least, so am i. | ||

I think I am due for a bump to Gold, but I really need to step my macro game up. I need someone who can help me break through the plateau and into Platinum. Im looking for someone who is willing to help me out to improve my game, i have friends who are in plat but they are hardly ever not busy so they can never really sit and talk much. I need to learn the pure mechanics of the game as well how to scout properly while still being able to macro back on main base. | ||

Ideally you'd ask for fee in exchange for your time. The people who want your help the most will pay, and the rest will search for a slightly less suitable but cheaper (free) trainer, and so on. My guess is that you got many PM's because there are limited euro trainers and you specifically posted free lessons. This is not ideal - i think there are many people willing to help who haven't received any pm's. | ||
