To be fair, I don't think there's any way to pick the game speed out of a replay. Play in LAN mode on slowest--same speed as in single-player. I chose single-player because I really didn't want to sit around waiting for my probe to kill a CC from full health to 0 on slowest.

yes you can tell the game speed. if you look at nony's replay he finishes legitly right under 10 minutes. some replays from other people may display under 10 minutes according to game time in repdepot, but the replay time that you can see ingame (above the fastforward/slowdown buttons) shows the actual amount of real-time they spent in the game and usually its a lot higher because they did it mostly under very slow gamespeeds.

Am I missing something? If you watch the replay in BW he gets knocked out like 5-7 minutes into the match...

look at the replay length, its half an hour. if he gets knocked out after 7 minutes then your replay went corrupt.

No, I think that's the time on Fast. My rep was definitely longer in real-time than it is on the timer.

edit: OK I don't know how replay time is related to that timer at all.... I just tested by playing on slowest for a couple minutes in lan mode. Gave me an end-game time of 4:xx (which is real-time). Gave me a replay time of 3:5x.

Makes no sense to me.

Time was 9'36. Now since neither this topic nor the original seems to clarify which map to use I went ahead and assumed I was allowed to pick any map. So I did it on Pro Bowl, it is a Blizzard in the scenario folder. Is that kosher?

yeah my question is whether or not that is allowed - to change the game speeds so that you dont really finish within 10 minutes of real-time, but you do in terms of game-time?

Doesn't really have a start/end time in the post but the clue is still red so I'll throw mine into the mix. Not really a clear distinction in the clue what is a "unit sound" and "unit impression" so I hope 5 total fits the criteria. :D
