I would really love if funday monday was more in the spirit of the first funday monday-- play with some restrictions or force the players to do something, find replays of people playing well with those restrictions about competent opponents, and then analyze them to see if that playstyle can teach us anything about standard non-restricted play.

I actually enjoy the funday mondays. I try them all regardless of race. Guess what, it's a lot of fun. I don't really care for newbie tuesday. However, so many people snub these poor confused noobies and give them half assed or just bad advice. If more people would treat them like human beings and share there knowledge in a friendly and constructive way (I'm looking at you diamond players

) then there would be no need for newbie tuesday. But Day9 being the wonderful person he is decided to take these poor lost misguided newbs under his wing and help them end frustrations and find joy in starcraft. That's commendable and I am more than happy to have 1 daily a week that I'm not crazy about, if it helps bring more players into the community. RTS are notorious for being welcoming and helpful communities, I don't think people should criticize day9 for carrying this torch. I can't tell you how many times I see noobs post on forums looking for help, only to get smartass 1 line answers instead of a detailed analysis, by decent diamond players with guidelines and really useable advice.

Nooo, why do people want him to get rid of Newbie Tuesday? I've JUST started watching them from the beginning, and already they've been incredibly helpful. I'm so happy that Day9 takes the time to remember the non-diamond players too. Thanks, Day9!

Well, i can say that I, myself, hate funday mondays, i don't watch them at all. Newbie tuesday is ok, because i know a lot of ppl aren't that good and they need this stuff. I also miss those indepth analysis when you were playing BW.

I think funday mondays are a fine idea, but they just happen too often. Maybe once a month would make them more special and give people more time to get quality results so that it would become more like a treat than a chore to watch.

The analysis dailies are the best imo, including the friendday stuff.

The Newbie Tuesdays are EXTREMELY helpful for ANYONE. A lot people acting like they know everything. Even for playing BW and SC2 for so long, the newbie Tuesday on drops and Colossi were great. Their great to reconfirm your fundamentals. As long as you learn why get rid of it?

everytime day9 asks "did it glitch out for you" or something similar i had 0 problems. even when he said it should have glitched out o.O
I remember one time he did cancel the daily because of some troubles with ustream, but i could see everything perfectly. kinda strange ^^

Awesome daily, thanks alot. What was he talking about with the sensitivity? You shouldnt have it at a multiple of 5? I cant find a thread about it

The funday monday forcing you to attack/expand at certain times where both fun and awesome from a learning (aha that kinda works) perspective. And the team games where you declare your race first is the without a doubt most fun SC2-vid i have seen. Pure laughter. However some fundays where less fun, i actually stopped watching the Battlecruiser-one since it well bored me... Maybe doing it once a month might not be a bad idea but i still love the concept.

As for newbie Tuesdays, I am possibly one of the players who would have a lot of use of it but i still dont watch them. When i tried i just found the "tempo" in them to slow and them being aimed towards newbies containing lots of things even i as a plat player find obvious. I am sure there are gems of knowledge for me there, still wont get me to watch them.

I do agree with more analyzing dailies like the last one. Was awesome, the more in-depth you get the better. And Frienday-fridays are also great, having not one but two awesome starcraft players analyzing a rep together and showering me with knowledge and insights is even better.

Day9 I remember you said in one of your dailys before Dreamhack you was hoping to set up a Friendsday Wednesday with IdrA, I really love his Drone until the last second play and was wondering if you still planned to do one with him in the near future? (When he's not busy with GSL of course)

Heya. As a toss player I really loved the latest daily. It provided a greeeaaat general way of approaching replays but first and foremost a good PvZ style ^^.
