And if it's not there, could it be added? Ustream is trying to push out a new makeover of the site, and it's in beta testing right now. So some channels do have this new one, and other channels don't. The new makeover does not have a popout window, for whatever reason. If you see it on Day9's, you can just click the link near the top of the page that says "Switch back to the old show page." That'll take you back to the standard, which does have a popout button.

The whole point of moving to ustream was due to livestream always taking a dump when the viewer count would get too high. Therefor it was really hard, not easy, on people who were trying to watch Day's stream and couldn't. There were also technical issues, where when livestream did crash he was 100% unable to restart the stream when the viewer count was above 1.5k-2k due to the limitations that livestream had. Ustream does not have this problem, a perfect example is yesterday's TLI cast that was on Ustream. The stream had near 9.5k viewers at the end and over 7k for most of the 6-7 hours of the cast, had perfect quality, and was without a single hiccup or crash. This would not have been possible on livestream, at all. There has not been a single livecast on livestream except one perhaps, D9D #100, where livestream has not died, crashed, been littered with lag, and etc when the viewer count gets in the several thousand. Day's casts anymore, including both his D9Ds and when he commentates, always reach into the thousands. Livestream was a good start, but it cannot handle the numbers that this caster now regularly gets. As the beta progresses and especially when release happens, this number is only going to sky rocket higher. In the week or two following release, I easily (easily) see the viewer counts regularly climbing into the 10-15k range if not higher. Livestream is not able to handle that load as it is currently set up. Ustream is a very good service with very good casters already using it with great success. Djwheat and glhf both immediately come to mind. Speaking of glhf, I would love to see a guide made by them on streaming on ustream, instead of making that arrogant/elitist post in a thread about how they won't due to competition reasons. I figured it out fairly well on my own (I run my own extremely new and small channel on ustream) but would of been much easier with a guide from someone that already had. Btw if anyone needs help with ustream please send me a PM here on TL. I will be glad to help as best I can. EDIT: sorry for the double, meant to edit my post above this one.

When I watch BW Tourny or anyhting- ProLeague- I get worried that SC2 will never be that cool. Probably just paranoid. But I've heard people complain they cant go "Back to watching Broodwar" after SC2. I certainly don't have that problem at all.

Same with me, I enjoy starcraft 2 but I can still watch starcraft 1 and enjoy it . Because the only thing better than epic broodwar games is epic broodwar games casted by Day9 ![]()

Love your casts Day[9] but as long as you're on UStream I and apparently a bunch of others will not be able to enjoy them. If anyone has suggestions how to fix the lag and stuttering I would be happy to hear it...Interestingly I clicked on several other UStream streams and they were fine. The only problem seems to be with Day[9]'s. Oudy
