Quality was better. There were some occasional stalls (once a minute for half a second?) but that's probably an issue on my end.

ustream was WAY better than livestream for me. Only thing that annoys me is the ustream watermark over the supply count, but not much you can do about that.

Overall, definitely an improvement.

Ustream is clearly superior to livestream in every way that I could see, quality was awesome and the stream ran without a single hiccup

Exactly the same here. (P)Much better quality and no lag at all.

Great stream tonight. Not a single hiccup as far as lag or quality.

The quality of the cast has greatly improved since moving from Livestream to ustream. I get about 50 fps on there compared to the ~10-15 I would get on average from Livestream. So kudos on that.

One suggestion I would make, though, is to figure out how to put slow mode on the chat, or how to disable it periodically. It looks like the spam crashed your stream towards the end there.

I just wanted to say that the cast was 100% lag free (quite literally) and that the video quality was much, much better than what you had going on Livestream. :D

I didn't see any lag, but chat does not ever load for me. It's a toss up for me because I can't say anything on the stream page, but no lag is nice. I'm going to have to say I prefer live stream though (only because I don't get chat on ustream)

Ustream is typically fine for me, with one exception: GLHF's stream is choppy as hell and cuts out every 5 seconds, which makes it pretty much unwatchable.
Sadly enough, it appears I get the same issue with your stream. That said, I'd rather you be on livestream, since I never had that many issues with livestream besides an occasional screwup with the stream. But, I understand a lot of other people don't like it, and it seems like you'll stay on ustream.
Don't know what I'll do without Day[9] dailies anymore...hopefully the recorded VODs will work.

With the uStream switch, the video quality was as good as--if not better than--LiveStream's, and there was no lag experienced on my end. Aside from the uStream logo (they really should let you dictate where on the cast it appears...) it was a gem of a first cast in the new interweb neighborhood.

As a side note, after learning how to mute the chat during the stream, you might want to look into Slow Mode for the Q&A session afterward; it would help prevent folks spamming like crazy, pushing questions off the screen, and (might) influence viewers to more carefully consider their queries.

All-in-all, bravo!

I'd just like to post my ONLY complaint about ustream.

Not having a pop-out chat. I like to have the stream popped out, on my secondary monitor, taking up the full screen, with chat in the corner. So far, the only way for me to do this on ustream is to open up a second stream window and just pause it and resize it. But that seems to lag my PC.

Not true except for some of the first people to load the stream, after so many viewers, it lags and freezes for everyone else

Much worse than livestream

props for ustream.

the good:
better quality
higher fps
usually smoother while in game
0 crashing
constant audio stream
alot less ad's. zomg, no ads. zomg this is important

the bad:
a bit of lag here and there with the video, only seemed to be when you had your camera on, not while on your pc view.
buffering a couple of times, for a few seconds

overall i think ustream's first experience was a good one for you. TBH, its platform is alot more scalable then livestream, so when you are casting tournments, there shouldn,t be that b ig of an issue with US. quality was better and it was smoother. bit of video lag ehre and there on the camera, but that might be a usb/livestream issue, as it only seemed to be on your camera.
