For Amorim the only relevant point that might not be know abroad, was about some fluff about the last few days and what triggered Amorim for that press conference. Media claims it was Wilcox parading around the training center saying to people that he was the manager and so he had last word. That was the last straw on a iffy relation between them to say the least. Hence why Ruben kept saying I'm the Manager of this club in the interview. As for the Bruno thing, he gave a very indepth interview to a Portuguese channel late 2025 that was made public during christmas in a 2 part show. After seeing that I've started liking him a lot more. I was previously neutral to him, but he was very honest and clear to every question he was asked. He was also very clear about the Saudi proposal and the way they approached him, the reasons to reject and what actually came as a surprise and made him really sad about that whole process. Essentially when he said no because he wanted to be with United and be a part of the solution to turn the club around, he was surprised to end that process with the distinct feeling that if it wasn't for Amorim saying he wanted Bruno there, United would have pushed him to go. All in all, Amorim lacked experience and it was maybe too big a step for him specially considering the club is in a complicated situation. As for Bruno, I wouldn't see it as a surprise that he will be gone in the summer now. | ||

With Amorim they started gathering an acceptable points tally, but whenever you felt like it was starting to look actually good, they drew Wolves or so and all the hype dried away again. | ||
