No proper pressure or push when they're 1 goal down. 1 point after 3 games. Not sure how long Allegri will last with performances like that and not sure if him leaving is going to change anything with the current roster. It really looks like a team that's lost its fire. something something ronaldo leaving etc etc

Most directors are probably on their toes and playing it safe as possible right now. I'm a bit torn on this one. It seems like a good idea to protect the players & refs from potential online abuse and experience may be tough for more sensitive viewers too. Then again at the same time these risks exists in every game of football from beer league to top tier. The better we understand decisionmaking, risks and consequences on the pitch, the safer the game is for everyone.

Thats obviously unnecessary. But the "how did it happen" can definitely be shown

And if it was "too graphic" you usually only know after someone puked on the table or couch. And it is also not so much fun to always be on alert, so you can quickly turn off the TV, because you see an incident and now expect that you will get delivered 7 slowmo angles of the same injury.

The problem with Eriksen wasn't that they showed what happened. It was that they kept zooming in on how he was still unconscious and that it was super serious. In a game that kids are definitely watching. It's considerably more gruesome and problematic than a bare titty during a superbowl. The same goes for an open fracture or any other serious injury. It happens on live tv, and it's fine. Showing how it happened is also fine. But you don't need a super slowmo zoom in on someone´s leg as it snaps with blood spraying over the grass as if it's a Tarantino movie. Nor do we need to see the paramedics applying CPR and a defibrilator to Eriksen on live tv.
