Hehe. I still like Barca quite a bit, but it sure makes a more interesting season if they're not running away with the La Liga within first 10 games ![]()

I think main reason why people quit in their early-mid 30s is that it's kinda expected and they're not motivated enough, it's not because you can't compete physically after hitting 35. (exception for injuries obviously).

You get slower after hitting 30, but you don't get dumber, less accurate or worse stamina wise, and if he has lost anything flexibility wise that prolly doesn't show because he had so much to go on. Thats his special playstyle which alloed longevity

And who needs stamina when you have one of the best services and aggressive style anyway ![]() But I don't think he is that much of an exception in general. I just mentioned Serena as well. And there were a lot of football players who played till 40. Buffon, Pizarro, ... Also there is someone like the Dirkman Nowitzki.

Not at top levels, but this is Flamengo vs Ceará... it's one of the top teams in the league vs one of the weakest. Plenty of defensive blunders in weak teams in European leagues too. Outside of England, anyway.

Saturday went to Braunschweig-Würzburg and we won 5-2. At the same time our friends from Magdeburg won 5-1 against the Lamas from Munich. Sunday we drove down to the south to watch our other friends Mannheim and they won 4-3 after being down 2-3. Rarely been so giddy after a weekend of football. Saw 2 games with a combined goalcount of 14 goals live and both ended in "our" favour. 14 goals combined + 3 wins for the Axis of Evil ![]()
