But instead they were 2-0 up with 40% of ball from an own goal and triple deflection, so yeah....if you think that isn't lucky then i don't know what luck is to you.

Liverpool winning this game 4-0 is not luck, its a difference of skill pande. They are light years ahead of Chelsea, face it. Ask anyone not hating Liverpool: they have dominated the game at home vs Norwich.

Allison injuring himself in this game is bad luck

Jesus wept are u reading anything i am typing. The first two goals when i was typing about luck was luck, plain and simple, good rub of the green as they say. They had 40% possession at home and were 2-0 up giving chances away to Norwich the same team we are watching right now.....they were lucky going 2-0 up but are not lucky being 4-0 up.

Yeah it isn't that big of a miss as Adrian isn't terrible, of course he is no Allison but he isn't a Mignolet or Karius like lol. If that was the backup then i would be laughing a lot XD

Solid start from Liverpool. Not unexpected but I'm sure everyone Liverpool is happy. Only negateive is the Allison injury. But Liverpool should be OK for a few weeks. Lets see how the rest of the weekend goes.

I don't think it will make too much difference. Liverpool's fixtures for the opening weeks aren't too tough and it's probably not the worst idea to bed Adrian in with a few games at some point anyway. Obviously Liverpool fans will be hoping he's back and fit as soon as possible. But you would rather have Alison miss a few games now than say crunch time in a Champions League semi final or something. (Not that him getting injurred now means he can't get injurried again later)

Any thoughts of the PL fixtures this weekend? I can't pick up anything else too exciting than the ManU - Chelsea on Sunday. Maybe Leicester - Wolves will be some indiciation on the top teams chasing the big 6.

Yeah, that's a good pick. I've put them into the same basket as Arsenal in teams than can break their recent trends and pull of positive upset this season.

First day of the season it's just exciting to have football back. It's a waste to have a big match up straight up. But I think it's random luck with the fixtures.
