Not a popular opinion, but I haven't seen what's so great about jorginho. Most of his passes are quite simple, and I seldom see defence splitting passes from him. Defensively he is slightly better than Fab. He is very cool under pressure though. Personally I would put kante at the base and play kovacic and rlc/Barkley.

Morata though is running out of time. This is a system that requires him to link with his fellow attackers. But he still plays as a lone forward style. I think he needs to learn how to enable his wingers like Benzema. Giroud is very good at this too.

Oh well still pleased with the 3 points. We were very lucky though.

That is his job, he is the assist for the assist guy. He gets ball, plays a quick first time pass to Hazard/Willian/Kovacic/Morata etc, that is his job offensively. Defensively his job is to pick up ball from CB and help get out fast with one touch passes which he does very very well. Just look at the games again and focus on Jorginho, 80% of what he does is instant first time passing which is crazy.

Yeah erm, Benzema is scoring goals vs the low ballers in La Liga, lets wait until we praise him for being a god gifted striker again please. I mean Bale last season had 0 goals and was treated like he was the anti christ yet i kept telling people he is good etc and he also has 2 goals and an assist in 2 games!

Lets wait until Europe or the games vs the top teams in La Liga happen before we claim Benzema is back...

I also thinkLopetegui is an extremely talented coach and has this Real Madrid team playing way better as a unit and without Ronaldo that is easier to do, i feel Zidane is more of an Ancelotti esc mould of a coach and Lopetegui is way more of a normal coach who drills his sides day in day out.

I might be wrong with Zidane, we shall see what he does at Yanited i guess....

although i dont trust woodward to not fire mou sometime during this season, personally i hope mou isnt sacked at least until this season is over. ideally, depending on how the results are, he isnt sacked at all. zidane isnt going to fix the problems at the club. woodward is an idiot and needs to sort shit out at the club management level before we even get to the football side of things

Yeah the best thing right now would be for Yanited to hire the director of football that has been rumoured to be appointed soon. That way Woodward can stop messing up transfers and it can take Yanited forward again that way.
