actually he probably would. he wouldnt risk upsetting his own player when being called the best in the world means that much to him. that is assuming pep would value ronaldo as a player and would want to keep him on the team

I'd be shocked if he left City. He has accomplished a lot there already but I'm sure he has the ambition and energy to chase a CL. He hasn't even built the ultimate team yet, there are a few things he could improve. That'd be really weird, especially since he also likes money and City can pay him much more than Juve.

Maybe because it's now or never? Juve plan coach hirings for longer cycles... I don't know, the EPL is also much more exciting to be in than the current Serie A..

Pep probably would like to have coached and won in all of the four biggest leagues. Seems natural that he'd be interested in the Juve job. But the timing makes the whole thing seem very unlikely imo

Guys what you seem to be forgetting is the FPP scandal of ManCity.

Pep kept saying he is sure the club made no mistakes but what if it came out that city is really facing a transfer or CL ban?

After announicing Schulz yesterday Dortmund today confirmed T. Hazard and Brandt.
German media says Hazard is 25 milion euro. Might rise to 30 Mio with bonus payments. Brandt ist 25 aswell.
Apart from a rotation option in the central midfield (someone more dynamic than witsel and delaney) and maybe a striker Dortmund is pretty much already done with signings for this season. Now its time to load of tons of players that didnt get any playing time (rode, kagawa, toljan, schürrle, toprak, guerreiro?, philliph?) and figure out who also wants to leave (weigl, brun larsen and schmelzer possible candidates).

Yeah, that's possible. I guess if his choices are skipping to Juve now or getting hit with a bunch of bans and a dead end season at City he'd pick Juve.

That said, Juve right now just doesn't seem very exciting. Right now the Serie A is about as thrilling as the Ligue 1, and it shows in the leaders' CL play: it's sloppy and uninspired.

I understand not wanting to be stuck in the same club for too long and I understand wanting to win the league in as many countries as possible, I guess juventus and psg are the two remaining clubs for him, but I don't understand leaving city for another club right now. They've arguably been the best team in the world for the past two seasons, yet there's still something to be desired in CL.

I mean he did already leave a godly team when he left barcelona, but that was after winning everything and then he took a break for a year. Now it would be leaving before winning everything and to go to a less great club, not a year off.

him leaving bayern for man city is arguably an exact example of him leaving before winning everything to go to a less great club. the only difference here is the current city team have "more potential" to win the cl vs his bayern team, but that means jack all when it comes to tournaments like the cl anyway.
i would not put it past pep to go to juventus tbh

So does anyone know if this Francesc Aguilar, is legit? He is saying the same source that told him about Pep going to City is saying he is leaving for Juve.

Still think it is bull, as Man City would be making unmistakable moves even behind the scenes if it were even remotely true.

Yeah i guess just from me being an outsider as u know the signings they are making are good quality ready made signings. Which i have not seen recently from them, normally kids with talent or something like this no? I mean Schulz is German international and is the starting wing back now right? Mini Hazard is one of the best wingers in Bundesliga (not the best but one of right? stats wise at least?) then now they adding in Brandt who was rumored to be one of Klopp's main targets. Very very good business from them and, the best part...all done so early.

Don't forget with Pep the rumors of him "done deal to Juve" were all the way back in January when a Turin based journalist who has links to the club said it was a done deal as well...people was scoffing at it then because City were doing so well and Allegri was also doing well. Now all of a sudden Allegri is sacked its getting very crazy. I would agree that he would be intrigued with going to Italy to say he has won the big 4 titles and he has always said he isn't at City forever and doesn't want to manage past 60 right?

why? CL is 2 PL teams this season, city is the best PL team. Last season PL was also overall the best league going by coefficient points, and they won the league by 19 points.

The best team of the past 2 seasons is either city or barcelona. liverpool is in contention for this season, not last.
