DET got whistled for offensive basket interference, but the tip-in missed anyway and Cavs got the rebound. They decided to review whether it was actually offensive goal-tending. If it was it would be Cavs ball side out. If it wasn't, it would be Cavs ball side out since the Cavs got the rebound. So the exact same result either way. A small change to the game record that I'm sure nobody will ever care about. That sequence was absurd. How about this - coaches have 1 challenge per game + 1 every OT. If challenge is correct, the get to keep their challenge. All calls are ref discretion calls, no need to replay in the middle of intense actions.

Those fans don't spend any money until that hope actually materializes. Hinkie got fired by the Sixers because the other owners got pissed off that a top 10 market wasn't pulling in any revenue to share.
Pelicans shouldn't dump Cousins just because they made a mistake with their overpriced role players. Letting him go isn't going to make Jrue Holiday's contract any cheaper. And they're not getting high lottery picks unless Davis gets injured.

Can the Bulls get him for cash consideration? Maybe gsw has more cash consideration to give up
|

What if bulls trade 2025 2nd rounder for him, then parlay that into cash consideration? We need more cash consideration.
|
Haha. Bulls sending Jordan Bell to GSW for cash consideration during a rebuilding year is definitely one of the NBA's head scratching moves. Athletic guys with a feel for the game are not exactly common.

my biggest concern with a George Hill trade to Cleveland was the money Cleveland would have to spend. they are in the 4X range for tax. so they are taxed 4X as much money as any new salary they add. and it looks like money is the problem. George Hill isn't willing to give up money he agreed to just a few months ago.
Ryan Hollins//Brian Windhorst. "George Hill has a pretty hefty contract and it looks like he wants every penny of it. Windhorst also mentions that the Cavs recent lineups changes and Frye's return to the rotation have played a part in the decision to put the deal on hold, for now."

Yep, looks like you were wrong. Oh well.

Fear not, soon enough the Cavs will also learn the beauty of cash consideration and will make all of it back, AND MORE.

Jerry West is the man!
Griffin was overrated and is now over the hill because of injuries, to say nothing that he is a douche.
Lou Williams represent! Clippers rebuild will be amazing!

Clippers send:
Blake Griffin (PF) Willie Reed (C) Brice Johnson (PF)
Pistons send:
Tobias Harris (F) Avery Bradley (SG) Boban Marjonovic (C) 2018 1st Round Pick 1 2019 2nd Round Pick
Now the 2 Rivers need to go! Do it Jerry!

I'd say it screams Det wants to make the playoffs and the clips are going full tank. Isn't it the opposite? I think the Clippers got legit while the Pistons got fleeced. Griffin is a choker.

Being the best player in a trade isn't nearly as valuable anymore since they raised the max salary. Blake on his contract is going to have a hard time outperforming $30 mil a year even if he is fully healthy.

Short term yes. It might even fill up seats just for the spectacle. But DET seriously got bombed, and Clips have all they need to be great-ish starting next season
