u do not need advanced stats to see where Wiggins offensive game suffers. FT% is like 62%, Shooting % is 43%, 3P% is 33%. All well below average. i think Wiggins is a decent playmaker for his position.. but that is hard to quantify. Most stats point to him being a decent playmaker when you take into account his role in the Minnie offense.
Wiggins advanced stats on defense point to him being a below average defender. ( Defensive Points Saved, Defensive Real Plus-Minus, Adjusted Plus-Minus, Opponent FG%). Wiggins DefRtg ON/OFF is good because Crawford and Shabazz are horrible defenders. Shabazz is so bad he lost his rotation spot. Wiggins is definitely a better defender than Shabazz and Crawford.
Add it all up and..... Wiggy is a below average player who is slowly improving. Meanwhile, many guys in his draft class have blown right by him.

The ESPN Real Plus Minus stats just got updated. Wiggins is a -0.10 with an ORPM of 0.88 and a DRPM -0.98. He is the 16th best starting small forward in the NBA according to RPM.

Spencer Dinwiddie says "hi". if you think he is a disappointment you probably are not watching him play. there is quite a bit of objective evidence Wiggins is a below average starter. he is getting better though. as a scorer Wiggins is below average. 32% from 3, 43% shooting, and a 63% FT% is below average 36.5% from 3, 47% shooting, and 75% FT% is average.
