Sure, no reason not to.

Abdelhak Nouri, one of the biggest talents in the Ajax academy, collapsed last Saturday on the pitch with heart problems (Cardiac Arrhythmia). He was resuscitated for a while but he has suffered severe lasting brain damage... looks like his career and his life as it is might be over. Such a waste ![]() Lots of strength to Nouri and his family. Amazing future blown away ![]()

How is that bad for Madrid ? James has no value for Real Madrid and is not in the plans of Zidane. The bad deal was giving 80 f-ing millions for unproven player. Getting rid of him is great and will open space for better players. When you dont have that 80 million euro liability sitting on the bench, it's much easier to field actually useful players. 36 goals and 41 assists for Real when he wasn't a core player except under Ancelotti doesn't sound all that useless if you ask me. Surprise transfer in the Bundesliga: Sven Bender leaves Dortmund to join his brother Lars at Leverkusen. Dortmund seems kinda low on experienced players at this point. A lot of injuries too.

Not that it normally isnt anyway. USA had to squeak out a 3-2 win over Martinique jesus. Canada might actually win this after going the last 2 Gold Cups without scoring a goal Well, French guiana apprently intentionally fielded their A+ squad; in the sense that Florence Malouda might be their best player, yet he was ineligilbe... And canada had the first player born in the 2000s to score in a major tournament? I'm not sure if I should be happy for that guy, but maybe the hype for him wont be as big as it would be in the USA, though he will probably be one of the faces of the 2026 world cup for sure. Let's not go too far as calling this a major tournament. I also don't see a problem letting our former internationals play chocolate cups with their region. I have a childhood friend who was a forward for Martinique btw, he started his professional carreer after getting his degree. He played in the mighty 3rd divisions of Wales and then Italy. He never lived in Martinique though.

[Edit] I'm proud that he made the decision to forgo higher pay etc for regular football at a smaller club. Lots of youngsters with their egos would want a move to a bigger club instead, and end up again not breaking through. I'm just very disappointed with my team, because they clearly showed half ass efforts in blooding the youth. Sporadic chances here and there. Not wanting Ake, I can understand because maybe he does not fit the current back 3. But going for bakayoko when you have chalobah, who impressed during his limited minutes last season, this is just wrong. Chelsea had little faith in their youth.

Matic pretty much gone too, Inter his destination as we won't deal with Yanited anymore. So that leaves Kante and Cesc as CM until Bakayoko signs today. Then maybe Baker as 4th? but he is more a 10. So that means we need to sign another midfielder now too lol.

Chalobah was the future if the management had a little faith. I dunno much about baker, but he doesn't have the experience chalobah has gotten. Wonder what we gonna do with Christensen and zouma too. Ay our squad is so thin suddenly.

Ay our squad is so thin suddenly. Baker is great, good experience with Vitesse for 2 years, helped them win their first major trophy last season. However he defo would need a season of training week in week out with Conte to help improve so again he is not ready like Chalobah was. Zouma is going on loan as i think he see's Christensen as starting, Zouma lined up for Stoke. Zouma going to sign a new contract before he goes though which is great news and then he gets 12 months of football under his belt as well hopefully so he can come back and maybe replace Cahill or something for example. 2x Strikers 1x CM 2x Wingbacks? we need to sign still and potentially imo we need 1x winger, maybe that Keita Balde guy from Lazio who looks very good and useful. Marina has a busy few weeks ahead of her :D
