Yeah, very nice group. In fact, all the Dutch teams got decent groups. No winter trips to Kazachstan! And home games that will actually attract crowds. Groningen will have a tough time getting out of the group stages, but I think it should be doable for AZ, and if all goes normally, Ajax should top their group.

I just hope they beat Fenerbahce solidly. I can't stand v. Persie (or Nani).

I think dnipro is gonna be way too strong, and Lazio was third in Serie A last season which also sounds too good, but we should have a fair chance against St. Etienne. Basically when we were good during the late 90s we had a couple of key players from Trondheim who were fiercly loyal and refused to go abroad even though they could have been starting players for top teams and made multiple times their salary (especially Roar Strand, Erik Hoftun and Ørjan Berg (although he was from slightly further north

)) Now we have an upcoming generation with some fantastic homegrown talent with some of the same attitude, like 4 of the current starters are from Trondheim, between 20 and 24, and all good enough to go abroad, but none of them wanting to leave unless it's for a good premier league or equal club. In addition, I expect some players like Alexander Tettey and Per Ciljan Skjelbred to rejoin us when they're starting to decline a little bit. ;p

prolly not gonna be 8 champions league participations in a row and winning the league 13 years in a row, but I think there are gonna be some glorious moments again at least.

For sure, I don't see AZ beating Atleti. And AZ has had a rocky start to the season, but they tend to overperform in Europe, and I think Augsburg will have their work cut out for them. Partizan is, imho, the weakest in the group by quite a bit.

Go ManUtd! I hope we get a striker before Tuesday though... If we progress decently in any of our cups, that'll be a LOT of mileage on Rooney's legs, and until Januzaj or Wilson step it up, not too sure in our strikers after Rooney. Fricking Fellaini is being considered for striker :o

Depay is redic fast and has incredible vision in the final third. Hes going to be scary if rooney can captain him to consistency.
