Performances will improve with the players getting back to fitness, but our tactics were absolutely shocking. Giroud forced wide because nobody attempts running or playing off him. Cech losing concentration and conceding what looks like a very soft goal. Bleh. At least Chelsea lost points as well. | ||

I mean, of course Giroud is not the problem... and yes Wegner lacks some "game winning" tactics when the game is uphill, but any manager will see that they lack another striker when Giroud is not on point... And Cech didnt had the best game, but he also made the same mistakes in Chelsea back in the day (And so does Courtois) still miles ahead of Szczesny. | ||

I'm not worried about Cech in the slightest. One bad game when the team as a whole sucked isn't the end of the world. He'll still save us points. We just have to seriously re-think the way we play on several points. | ||
