It is funny because he left Atletico the year before they won La Liga and reached Champions League final to go to play Monaco without Europe competitions. He is very bad choosing his teams xD

It's just hilarious that Arsenal could have used him so much more.

Falcao will compete with VPS for #9 spot, doesn't make much sense but I guess VPS won't be healthy entire year. It's just hilarious that Arsenal could have used him so much more. I read somewhere that RVP is going to need a knee operation soon, and with Chicharito on loan and Welbeck is also going to follow suit, having Falcao is actually quite a good piece of business by Woodward, well assuming that Falcao's knee doesnt act up again

There are rumors that RvP may need a knee operation and that he could be out for a long time (could even be career threatening - I really hope thats not the case). With Hernandez going to Madrid on loan and United looking to offload Welbeck as well they could use another striker. Since it's a loan deal it's not completely crazy. Still... perhaps United would be better served by buying a central midfielder or a CB... I really don't understand their transfer policy... they simply refuse to shore up their midfield and defense.

Transfer Deadline Day! To Go The latest news on Everton comes courtesy of Alan Irwin, who tells Sky Sports News that Manchester City defender Matija Nastasic has emerged as a possible target. Lewis Holtby had also been linked with a move, but it seems the German is more likely to head to Hamburg from Tottenham. Ronald Koeman has confirmed that Atletico Madrid defender Toby Alderweireld is on his way to Southampton and he is also hoping to sign an attacker before the transfer deadline. Liverpool defender Sebastian Coates is set to join Sunderland on a season-long loan deal, according to Sky Sports reporter Vinny O'Connor. Midfielder Lucas Leiva is another player possibly set to depart after attracting interest from Napoli and Galatasaray. Tottenham Hotspur have been fairly quiet so far this summer but Radamel Falcao's move to Manchester United could set in motion a chain of events which leads Danny Welbeck to White Hart Lane. Spurs are also expected to complete another transfer today, with midfielder Benjamin Stambouli set to arrive from Montpellier.
