Honestly he looked like he would play there for years... Not fantastic but what can someone expect after half a day at the club.
1 - 1 is kinda disapointing but i guess they are happy with 4 points after wc and playing 2 of the 4 serius clubs in the first two games with an unbelievable amount of injuries.

No point in beating yourself over the head with it.
You make your picks and live with it. Its just a matter of rolling the dice.
The prudent decision based on the information available would be to leave Naismith and Costa out
If some one bets their pot, plays blind and wins, good for them but its certainly not a rational choice
Nor does anyone expect 6-3 scorelines in Chelsea Everton games.

He never said he was, the press jumped on a tiny piece of information that was leaked by the club. Whether they did it on purpose or not i don't know. Asked on Friday if he was injured Mourinho said he is a doubt, he went to train today we will check him afterwards to see if he can travel. He was a doubt, passed fit played like he played the other two games. Didn't look nothing wrong with him.
All i can say for that game is how disappointed i am with the defending, i hope it's just a silly freak result. I am also 100% aware of how much Mourinho will be analysing that defending and making sure it never happens again. Glad the neutrals had fun though xD
3 wins from 3, no problem onto the next. Just fingers crossed no one gets injured on international duty t.t
Oh only mistake i made in fantasy league, not keeping Costa captain t.t Don't forget with the captain your vice captain takes it if your captain doesn't play. If Costa didn't play he is subbed out for someone who does and vice captain is made. Big mistake cost me 12 points t.t Stil on 52 for the week though :D

Sky Bet have suspended betting on Radamel Falcao joining Real Madrid after the Monaco striker was backed at as short as 1/3 to make the switch before the transfer window closes
Damn...Falcao Bale and Ronaldo damn, that rivals Neymar Suarez Messi for sure.

I can't wait for Real Madrid vs Liverpool and first el clasico :3 :3
Perez really wants to win back to back CL.

United's problems all start at the back, we have not one, two, but three defenders who love passing the ball straight to some triple marked midfield player and giving the ball away. Blackett was the worst today at making the most intercepted 10 yard passes from the back. Evans's diagonal balls fall about 10 yards short every time and he was the worst overall player today. Each time they give up possession the opposing team always counters quickly. The back three simply don't know how to deal with pressure of any kind, and take too long and make poor choices even when not under pressure, and now they're making De Gea look shaky because no one can make simple passes to unmarked players.
Di Maria looked good, he was put into a pretty deep role and did well. Otherwise same story, everyone looked confused, no synergy anywhere, mishit balls, players slipping, etc. Valencia and Young get the most touches again.

Part of the problem with a back 3 is that there is less angles to get a ball into midfield then when you have a back 4. On top of this, all 3 of United's CB are too afraid to carry the ball forward themselves. This leads to passing around the back or trying to force a ball into midfield when he's under pressure. That's the second issue, midfield. They don't present themselves for the defense to pass effectively too and they are not good enough the small spaces to turn a pressing opponent and continue to move the ball forward, so inevitably the ball goes back to defense. Then it's hoofed forward.
LvG seems hellbent on the 3-5-2 to be able to incorporate his star trio of Mata, Rooney and Robin van Persie but it's all pointless if they can never be adequately supplied with the ball.
I think as the defense gets more comfortable with the system the schoolboy errors will eventually dissipate, but the lack of service to the attacking players, won't. The simple truth is that Fletcher/Cleverley, the back 3, Young and Valencia are not good enough. These players are responsible for providing good service for the attacking players, but they are not good enough to do so. I think the system LvG is trying to instill puts an even heavier burden on them to create and that's just not smart.
With that said, when they do get the ball the front 3 have been really poor and slow. Part of that is because the center is so congested because United play without much width but Rooney, Robin van Persie and Mata in particular were absolutely too slow. They need to have much quicker speed of thought to create chances in what are going to be small spaces.
The only positive is that Di Maria looked quite good in my opinion, he was the only player that created anything in an extremely limited team today.

I just can´t understand why a team with near infinite money and several players of the top top notch have to force an unconventional formation upon themselves. Three centerbacks are awesome against two strong attackers, but how often does a team face that in premier league? The wingbacks of a team playing 3-5-2 are very offensive some might argue, but in 2014 sidebacks are offensive in a back four aswell.
I just can´t wrap my head around why this formation is so important to bring the best out of the front three, couldn´t a narrow 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 do the same, whilst allowing them an extra offensive player on the pitch? I´d rather have an extra Januzaj or Welbeck than a Blackett, but thats just me (come to think of it, Id rather have none of the options, but thats another story).
Fergusons teams usually had obvious weaknesses, but they just played around them. Not good in midfield? Ok, we´ll just get the ball down the wings. This United has a horrible center midfield and a horrible bag of center halves, so why not throw in some god damn support for the attackers, play the ball where they are strong and win games by scoring goals?
The players of United are too good for this misery to continue, RvP and Rooney would walk into most teams, they will recover. But why oh why do they bang their heads against the wall like this.
