Bledsoe would be worth 5/80 if the PG position wasn't so loaded. Like if someone of his comparable skill played SF/C they'd get 5/80 for sure- for example Parsons got 15 mill a year which is one less and I'd say Bledsoe is a better basketball player than him. But I'd pay Parsons that much because the SF position is thin whereas I'm far more likely to have a good to great PG on my team.

when Kevin love is guarding somebody, and that somebody shoots the ball, Kevin love would not contest the shot, He wouldn't even put his hands up, instead he turns around before the shot was in the air to box out for an rebound. Because a contest is not recorded on the stats sheet, but a rebound is.

Oh no doubt. Love's help defense is bad. He can't protect the rim but he can get rebounds. Can't live without paint presence.

Am I the only one who dorsnt love Love's fit in Cle? They'd be pretty sucky defensively with him and kyrie. Like kyrie, waiters, Lbj, Thompson, varajao is pretty awful defensively.

They'd still need more depth before being a serious threat imo.

anyway this deal is pretty bad for cleveland without the win now premium associated with either lebron's window being narrow or cleveland's own window being narrow (because unable to sign guys after lebron's prime is over). with this consideration i don't think that team is suddenly favorite to win it all given the obvious depth and defensive issues.

there's no way lebron can keep up being a max effort two way player, and even if he's at that max effort they still don't have room to sign rim protectors.

Get Love to pair with Lebron now, get rim protector next. I'd actually trade Kyrie before Wiggins but that's an unpopular stance
