I hope you meant 4th best at his position. I think Blake Griffin, La Marcus Aldridge, Cousins, Anthony Davis, and Bosh would have something to say about that.

Love is a hair below the Durant/CP3 level.

By what measure? He's 23/11/3/1/1 ... Kevin Love 26/12.5/4.5/0.5/0.8. He's led his team to the playoffs, he's an all around player (good offensively and defensively). Kevin Love has more range and gets boards better but is a significantly worse defender, hasn't been to the playoffs ever. How can you possibly say that they're not in the discussion? How are you saying he's a hair below the Durant/CP3 level. CP3 led his team to the playoffs, ditto with Durant, Aldridge, Bosh, everyone. The only one who hasn't (yet) is Anthony Davis, but he's only in his second year. And I'm not just saying this because these guys got to the playoffs and Love hasn't... but when you call him easily the 4th best player in the entire league, when by team performance and statistical measures he's comparable to 4-5 other people at his own position... I just don't get it. Bosh, Griffin, Aldridge, Davis, Cousins, Love. That's 6 PF's who are on a pretty even playing field and I think aside from Davis who is the youngest/most potential, any of these 6 can be better than any other on any given night. And then all 6 of these guys are below LeBron, Durant, and Chris Paul. Call Love arguably a top 10 player in the NBA, sure. Easily 4th best, definitely not.

Funny. Lamarcus Aldridge led his team to the playoffs? Could have sworn it was Batum and Matthews having historically good 3pt shooting seasons that turned them from terrible-not even close to making the playoffs into a seed. But I guess Aldridge just magically improved huh?

Bill/Jalen predicted the Bulls to win the 2014 title, "Rose is healthy, Thibs is a god, everyone else on the team is gonna get better!!" They didn't even predict that Joakim Noah would make the leap he did. Point being, though, Rose got hurt after a few weeks and they were not the best team. After two years, you can't possibly mark the Bulls as the favorites until you see Rose play in NBA games the way he is capable of playing, without getting injured. Let Gasol play a season without missing 35 games to injury. I was joking based on your last post. It's been too long, I can't be that optimistic anymore. If Rose is healthy though I think we are the favorites to make it out of the East barring Wiggins being day 1 NBA ready/Love trade/all the Cavs rookies making a huge leap. And it's going to take rose time to find his way. I think he's gonna struggle this year. Should still hit around 50 wins on their D alone but I think they'll struglle to get close to the one seed Butler/Rose/Dunleavy/Mirotic/McDermott can all shoot the 3. Gibson/Pau and occasionally Noah have midrange shots. We're not the best outside shooting team but we're not the Grizz either.

It's Blake or Love for best PF. Davis will prob overtake them soon. LMA isn't even top 5 imo: Blake Love Dirk Bosh Davis. All better at a mininun. You could even make a case for ibaka and cousins being better.

It would be neat if LA could package nash and/or jeremy lin and sign/trade for Bledsoe. That would give Phoenix financial flexibility moving forward as well as give LA a piece it can use to improve now. Bledsoe/Kobe/Randle is a nice core; obviously with Bledsoe/Randle being pretty young. You could definitely start building something around that. Thoughts?
