Ibra's goal is crazy!
nvm what I said about the Serie A, this second half has been freaking brilliant. A second half capped off with an amazing goal too! Milan sinking further and further.

I looked him up a while ago because he was linked with Arsenal. While there doesn't seem to be too many highlights of him from open play, he is already a distinguished set piece magician at just 19 years old. Boss Barkley. + Show Spoiler + ![]() We should get him as well as his teammate Tolgay Arslan and Leverkusen's Omer Toprak. Tolgay Arslan said "i would like to play with Sneijder and Drogba." btw I think Sneijder will leave at end of this season, Yanited wants him so badly. Calhanoglu would be a good replacement, ofc he isnt on Sneijder's level but it would be fun to watch his progression. I think our transfer budget is around 30M for this transfer window. I believe in Mancini :3 He already got best LB of Brazilian league.

You need to have in mind that Alex Telles have 21 years old, so while he can develop as a player and become at least better than Marcelo, he still can be just a average player who had a good year (which is enough to be the best player in your position here).

Well curious enough Alex Telles was the replacement for André Santos when he left Grêmio in May, and did a better job. André Santos didn't choose well going to England. Brazilians LB and RB seem do adapt better to the playstyle of the spanish league. He was something like 7 years older than Alex Telles when he went to europe and sometimes going younger is better for adaptation.

Sure Neymar feels better on the left side and Pedro on the right side, but in Barcelona it has always been "the 3 best forwards play", which means Messi + 2. So Eto'o-Henry => Ibra-Henry => Ibra-Pedro => Bojan-Pedro => Villa-Pedro => Pedro/Sanchez/Fabregas/Villa (and we wondered why every single one of them disappointed...) => Neymar-Alexis/Pedro. Neymar has to play because he cost 60M and because putting him on the bench would be bad, so either Alexis/Pedro has to suffer this despite their efforts and their statistics (that are on the same level as Neymar's). Neymar didn't take Villa's spot, Villa was on the bench. Neymar took a starting 11 spot regardless of the other players' performances. Yeah I admit that I whine a lot about this but I just cannot believe this transfer actually happened: + Show Spoiler + 1) We needed a CB more than a striker and we couldn't get one because of the amount of money spent on Neymar 2) The transfer creates conflicts inside the team for the huge amount + the huge salary Neymar is receiving (some sources say that he earns more than Messi, need confirmation) 3) The transfer creates conflicts on the pitch because Neymar has to be the star in the team, and we already got Messi. Neymar had to repeat "I'm not taking Messi's place, I'll play for him" FOR 3 MONTHS before the season even started. And now that he performed "well enough" - still not at the level he should perform for his price and his star image, but I'm maybe a bit harsh here, he needs time to adapt - people are starting to say "we don't miss Messi so much", really? 4) His transfer had to push either Pedro or Alexis on the bench. We heard rumors that Pedro wanted to leave the team because despite his good performances he's not in Tata/Rosell's main plan. 5) His transfer wasn't bad on a marketing aspect, but on a football aspect it was terrible, we already had Deulofeu coming and youngsters like Tello/Cuenca/Dongou won't have a chance to play because now they are number 5-6-7 in the forwards hierarchy. Now, Neymar might be become the star they want him to be, he might even push Messi out of Barcelona and win CLs for the team, but I highly doubt it, you cannot blame me for that. The whole transfer was a big marketing move by Rosell, a move that looks like Florentino's kind of moves. "Cantera vs Cartera" for years, and now that? Again, I admit that I whine a lot, but there is a lot to whine about nowadays in Barcelona, and I use this forum as a way to let this frustration go. If you don't want to read it, you should just skip the posts where you see "WillyWanker". I'll try to not pollute this forum too much with such negative ideas but recently I just cannot help it! During the week I see these retarded statements from the direction, the players, the players' families, and the week-end I see the result on the pitch, it's just too frustrating :'(
