To be honest, football kind of sucks since every team abandoned classical 4-4-2 system. Just bunch of guys crowding the middle as much as possible to block opponents chances... Not merely as exciting as it used to be.
Considering Kaka, I remember that Juventus chairman claimed once that he would never sign a player with such a name (ofc meaning something like 'to take a shit'), but that was just before Kaka started owning in Serie A, so later every newspaper in Italy mocked Juve management for these words.
My picks for tonight: MU - Chelsea 1:1, Granada - Real 1:3.

Hahaha Cech almost took out a ball boy with his elbow swing of doom

not very entertaining game for a neutral so far, so many failed passes...
|
I feel like Valencia should have gotten a yellow there.
|
that was a blatant and pretty harsh foul to not be given a yellow. Dat Man U at home effect.
|
WTF just Valencia did? For a second, I thought it might even be red.
|
holy shit, what the fuck was that from van persie. This ref is a cunt... I am not wholly overwhelmed with appreciation for the quality of this match's arbitrator.
Shurrle's positioning is quite awkward and his defensive work rate is abysmal so far.
|
Schürrle looks like what would be described in Germany as a "Fremdkörper". The odd man out so to speak.
|
If I were in Mou's shoes, or any manager of Ramires, I would forbid him from passing over 5 yards. He is the most wasteful possession player in the entire league I think. He has wonderful finishing, good defence and great speed. But his passing is horrifying.

You've got Lukaku on the bench Jose... how about you use him?

I don't understand why Chelsea has stopped playing Juan Mata and brought in all these guys at his position, he was one of their best players last season. Does Mourinho not like him or something?
|
The more I see that Valencia foul, the more I feel like that should be a red card.

I'm scratching my head too. Maybe he genuinely hates spaniards.

he's come back from confed cup injured and struggled to regain fitness. he was pretty bad vs villa, too, it really showed. he needs a couple more weeks to get to 100%
i think de bruyne needs to come off for lukaku - schurrle can go on right side

Could have easily snapped his ankle with that one, so much speed and power in that foul. Icing added to the cake when De Bruyne goes in the refs book right after for trying to break Van Persies elbow with his face.

Mata looked abysmal against Villa, I can't blame Mou for not putting him against Utd. He needs some match fitness before he is back to full strength.
edit: and yeah, Ref has been a joke so far.

I would still expect Mata to be able to give a great performance in this match. He is a big...huge player. With some more experience than an Oscar or a De Bruyne.
