Suarez says he was promised if they didn't hit the top 4 by last season Liverpool would let him leave. Currently 3 weeks left of the transfer window and he is still there with 2 bids rejected (ones we know of) for his services. Not everyone is like Steven Gerrard, and Liverpool need to realize this fast. Top professionals want to play at the highest level now and don't want to be hanging around mid table sides not even playing in Europe. Especially with the money being thrown around. You can't blame Suarez on this at all, this has become 100x worst than Bale and Rooney saga put together Yeah, I'm so sick of hearing people prattle on about players not showing enough loyalty to their clubs. What about clubs showing loyalty to their players? When a player doesn't play well enough to meet the club's goals, he's dropped from the lineup. Maybe he's even sold. No one blames the club for getting rid of him. But when a club isn't good enough to meet a player's ambitions, (and really, I think it's pretty fair that a player with as much talent as Suarez wants to leave midtable mediocrity for the Champions League), and the player wants to leave, he's disloyal. See the double-standard? http://www.vi.nl/nieuws/meulensteen-al-na-zestien-dagen-ontslagen-door-fc-anzhi.htm Rene Meulensteen has been sacked from Anzhi after just sixteen days on the job. He managed two games. Even Roman Abramovich thinks that's ridiculous. On August 07 2013 20:07 sc4k wrote: What does everyone think about Michu this coming season? Reckon he's going to continue banging them in? If the first leg of their Europa League qualifier is any indication, hell yeah. Him and Bony look just as scary as it seemed they would be.

God I couldn't hope this more for the Russian clubs especially. Just so out of the way and bizarre, most significantly Anzhi. They also are full of racism over there. Wouldn't mind it happening everywhere else too, even if that means we (Chelsea) lose out. This bloody money in football is so destabilising when it happens out of nowhere to a customer base that is not right (Monaco average attendance 10,000), and drains the talent and misuses it.

Lahm made almost every game and was just amazing in the legs against Barca.

They have made an official bid today as well, i wonder what it was. To be honest in terms of what i value ANY defender, any bid over £30million for a defender i would snatch there hand off, or atleast say to the player look this team has bid this money for ur services, its a crazy offer would you want to leave. Then if they say yeah i would accept. David Luiz could be AWESOME and is good now, but 30million for a defender...yes please ^_^
