 Was Chelsea's biggest test to date pre season and i think we passed it quite easily (in the end). We did have some pretty sloppy moments at the back, but we also did defend pretty well. Schurrle and De Bruynes goals were great finishes as well as good plays which was good. Now within 2 months of being in the job, Mourinho is about to face his old club in Real Madrid and Chelsea are going to be facing Ancelotti again. Should be a great match that on Wednesday. Also, i think America fucked up their drawings. Everton should be facing AC Milan in 3rd place play off game and not LA Galaxy, both the Wikipedia and the website itself states its going to be LA Galaxy vs AC Milan for the 3rd/4th place game :S Even though on the website in their brackets you can clearly see it should be Everton. /Facepalm | ||

However i do agree no man on this earth is worth 30million a year to kick a football around a pitch. When Drs and Nurses get low wages for doing such hard jobs. | ||

He is also always second behind Messi when the FIFA Ballon d'Or is awarded and i doubt he´ll win this year. Maybe I don´t like CR because of his character, but i really don´t see him as THE footballer per se. | ||

Players like Robben and Ribery last season are good examples of those who attack well and defend to a reasonable level to actually help in that department. Which should be in your list on that criteria. | ||

But many and especially FIFA Ballon d'Or just give credit to the offensive players and forget those in more defensive positons, even though they are often the backbone of a team. | ||
