Now why did they plan that final so late at night? Everything so far has been fine, schedule-wise, now they suddenly change it up? Oh well, I suppose that's what mondays are for...

I think it's because they thought they had to play the 3rd place play off game on the same time as final and wanted a nice gap between. It is 6:30pm kick off in Brazil Time with the 3rd place game kicking off a 1pm

Isn't the Confederations Cup winner cursed to never win the World Cup that follows it? So both teams should be throwing the games

Well to be fair, only France and Brazil have won Confed Cups that came right before the WC and those two can't win WC all the time
