Please get a english caster you love to cast this. He doesn't have to pay, prepare or discuss anything. He shows up, don't lag and he is invited to a top class tournaments. You would think lesser known casters of the world would show up to cast this but no they prefer to cast playhem ... More power to them then.
For everybody information, this tournament is the reason EmSC got his first 1000 concurrent viewers as well as 2000 (if I'm not mistaken), I don't see why someone looking to be a better.
It'd be a shame if Stephano and Polt aren't in the final MSI Cup. Both are tied with four MSI Cup victories, and this was the tournament that began their epic rivalry.

...what are you talking about?
I think he is trying to complain that no english caster want to cast this tournament
Damn, the EU qualifier might be the highest level non-Korean tournament up to date! It could only get better with NaNiwa (but seriously I wouldn't know who to exclude). I love your choice and can't wait for it to happen. And I hope it won't be all about who's better at ZvZ
Surely there is an English caster who has stepped up by now, always see threads of people complaining about having nothing to cast, and now there is and there is none to be found sad times
I really don't think Lucifron though the nuke would mean for Stephano to surge forward, he was probably looking somewhere else and got completely caught off guard.
Edit : And now running spine crawlers away from nukes, this game is awesome.

He needs tanks to avoid infestors to go to far below the broodlords and fungal just everything.

gglords, gglords. You really can't do anything cost-effective vs BL/infest/corruptors in a certain amount, even with substantial eco lead and raven/ghosts, if the Z engage good enough... This game is a very good example.

Time to reverse snipe nerf :p :D ?
No harass, no snipe, nothing from lucifron. So much bank from stephano... so yes, 25 broodlords is a bit imba.

You didn't watch the previous series of Lucifron against Dimaga did you :p
Nah need to rewatch VODs.
I really dislike this Stephano trend of getting lazy and complacent in game 2s.. Build some units. He's relying on the cross map distance, and it will work this time.

Yeah going that many ultras without infestors is usually the best way to lose a game where you have an advantage. Reminds me when he destroyed the EU grandmaster ladder going pure ling.

now the full ling doesn't work anymore vs terran, but maybe vs european protoss in some case (cf nightend :D)
Stephano so good in actually winning the actual battles against Lucifron. The Spanish Terran can drop and hellion harass his drones but Stephano turned the game again by just winning the actual fighting. Great battle management during the engagements is one of Stephano's strengths.
So Stephano goes through to the semi-finals. I guess these are played on 27th?.
This Polish guy, Zedd is extremely amusing. Props to him.
I just want to throw out there that I'm the proud owner of an MSI Force 16F2 laptop and it is awesome. I play SC2 on highest settings in 1080p and always at 60+ fps, sometimes as high as 180 fps. Support MSI or any company that supports eSports!
I'm so glad I watched this yesterday, so much TvZ porn it's bizarre. Check for vods if you didn't see it. I do understand enough French to follow the cast too, but yeah, it's a bit sad that there's no English cast, I think it would boost viewership a lot. Still, it's been great so far and I'm looking forward to more!

its been mentioned plenty of times in this thread that zeddsc is on english, was yesterday and will be today. He was great so tune in
Sorry, didn't read the whole thread. I'll continue quoting this then for others who don't know
Predictions for this group anyone? I assume that Nerchio will kill everyone and everything in his way, I can't really decide who I think will take the second place though. Probably Vortix, but it will be close.

Could we have an explanation from admins?
*edit* Saw that it was cross server issues otherwise, but there should be rules on how to solve that instead of changing the bracket. What will happen if/when the situation happens again?

Yeah, Nerchio and VortiX didn't want to play on NA server. Not really fair play tbh.

In fact it's because of Nerchio and VortiX who didn't want to play on the US servers (with MaNa) so they had to change the brackets.

Seems really unfair towards players that are willing to play cross server. What would've happened if ThorZaIN didn't want to play cross server as well? What happens when one of Nerchio/VortiX will have to face MaNa in winners match? Whatever the rule is, that should've been enforced in starting match.

Pfft.
Nerchio-MaNa is actually played on EU server. Looks like ThorZaIN is more likeable than the two others.

Players shouldn't be the ones deciding these things, it should be predetermined by admins what server you play on. Pretty ridiculous imo, makes the tournament look bad and makes the players who say no look bad.

The attitudes because I said they ignored me and thus painted them in a bad light.
He seems to know more about my schedule than I do, seeing as he "knows" how much free time I have : ) Sending an email expends 5 minutes indeed, but waiting for a reply? knowing if it's been read at all? Do I have time to hold said dates down when i'm being bombarded by dates for other tournaments? I'm not sure how you guys operate in terms of business but for me first impressions are pretty important. I sent an email, I got ignored, why should I try again if i'm busy hunting down other opportunities? Lucifron and Nerchio are having some really awesome games right now, both taking turns dismantling the other player Really fun to see! I thought Nerchio would take it, but they're much more evenly matched than I thought.
I love that kind of TvZ opening, macro 2 rax not to end the game but to do some economic damage and set the zerg back in drones and creep, using the raxes as a wall + the pressure at the front to safely flood CCs, transition into mech but keep producing marines at the start to have a stepping stone and keep the zerg guessing. I'm nowhere near good enough to tell how solid the opening is and where it's best to use, but it looks so refined and thought out.
On September 28 2012 05:06 Beta2k wrote: why didn't he play on?? was no auto-lose wasnt it? :D
Everything was delayed so heavily I doubt he would have been able to produce any decent defence with only Drones against SCVs and Marines. LucifroN could tell there was no pool, and just pull all SCVs for the win because there are no Lings.

Good guy LucifroN.
but maybe lucifron thought it was the ultimate mind-game. like a hidden hatch with pool somewhere else, and therefore he would NOT have rushed...
On September 28 2012 05:20 PhoenixVoid wrote: Three Hatch before Pool? If LucifroN 2 rax'd again, Stephano would be so dead.
Stephano reacted to Lucifron's CC first.
Lucifron reacted to Stephanos 3hatch with some quick hellion banshee attack and keeps harrassing for the last 5 ingame minutes... Stephano looks kinda dead.,
G2 on Antiga: Lucifron fails a marine/marauder/hellion + stim attack and Stephano counters, kills some scvs, denies the fourth for a while and gets a bunch of broodlords and 9 queens on the highground in the middle. Sigh...

I think he's best Polish caster. He said he cannot remove the flag for English cast, only TL admin can do it. So if any of you guys are reading this you can go ahead
G3 on Taldarim, Stephano going easy mode maxed out at 178 supply for a couple of minutes :D
G3 on T: 200 vs 200 battle, MMMT vs ling/infestor/ultra... suprisingly lucifron wins with 155 vs 135 supply, snipes 4th and ultralisks cavern.
Meanwhile Stephano gets brood lords.
.... couple minutes later Lucifron is still not ready with almost no vikings and a ton of marauders vs a ton of lings and BLs... but he gets ghosts ftl instead
Lucifron going the nuclear warfare way, killing the 5th with a drop and a nuke. Stephano does not care with 4.5/2.2k in the bank
On September 28 2012 06:16 scypio wrote: Stephano just does not remake em drones, he will make 170 supply army with supply eaten up by corrupto/infestor/ultra/broodlord...
yeah agree, less drone = more food for the army, enough to win over lucifron with a huge fight, like we saw
Problem with the nuke play is that it took away resources form his air upgrades and the nukes did almost 0 damage. While Stephano´s air was 3-1 so Lucifron could never win a fight.

Millenium's international communication for their events is and has always been awful. But for this one it's at another level. Stephano just crushed Fraer 2-0 btw. And the tournament is paused due to the maintenance on NA servers.
Strange games, I had no idea what Hyun was doing in the game on Antiga. And now on Cloud Kingdom, Stephano loses the micro war, falls behind, and instantly ggs... LOL.

OK, I know that that was the first series Stephano has won against ForGG, although he really should have won their clash in DreamHack Valencia.
I thought Lucifron could have successfully taken out the third base there, but he diverted to the natural and then aborted when he saw the banelings morphing.
