They must have some type of software to install that makes sure players are not using illegal macros or have a live stream feed open or something? Is that type of software used in all big tournaments?

Thanks for pointing that out since I had no idea about this at all. I don't agree with background software running scanning my files and as such and would like to be removed from the tournament my name on there is the same as this one.

This is typical language in their Privacy Policy because an anti-cheat is used for FPS games like Counter-Strike. There is no anti-cheat used for SC2 because Blizzard and BNet handle all of that. You will not be required to download any software.

A lot of people are still signed up without the correct information. Your team name must be your battle.net name.code (Ex. Blah.123). The tourney is now full. The tourney now has 1024 registered participants. Some of those who applied didn't complete their form correctly so will see if there entries will be counted. Keep an eye out. Openings may still appear.
