What's really unfortunate for you is that your name-usurper is far more likable anyways.
+ Show Spoiler + + Show Spoiler +Also, the sudden influx of internet-dude-grossness must have been disgusting and fascinating. I can't even imagine.

In the spirit of funny SJW professor theory stuff, a college story:
I had a roommate one year who took a women's studies class because he needed an easy A to get his gpa up.
He ended up hating the class and thinking it was incredible bullshit. I don't know how bullshit the class actually was mind, but my roommate would rant about how the professor was a crazy feminist.
When it came time for the final essay for the class, he decided he had had enough and wanted to write the stupidest thing he could possibly think of.
He wrote an essay about how rapists prefer anal sex because anal sex is inherently more masculine and more dominating than vaginal sex. He read it to me and our other roommate before turning it in, and it was one of the most offensive things I'd ever heard and at the same time had the two of us rolling around in hysteria for the entire reading.
He got an A.

I'm not sure I could have ever stuck with a class like that even with the promise of an easy A. It would be too painful to watch.

I'm not really surprised you were rolling around in hysterics on the subject of anal rape, wait, no, I AM surprised.
Seems like either a poor choice of words or you didn't communicate effectively how it was hysterical if it was so offensive.

He got an A. My friend did something similar for his final paper in an African American Studies class we took together. He got a C and it cost him his A for the class lol.

Just the way that he wrote it was hilarious. He specifically engineered the entire document to sound as ridiculous as possible.
I figured that was self evident due to the ridiculousness of the premise.

Also, where's the tabletop RPG vote? People were saying they were voting but I see no poll or thread anywhere, I need to chip in for exalted so that I can dust off some characters.

I had a roommate take an "Introduction to Computers" course for the science credit and easy A. He regretted that decision the entire semester.
Imagine a college course designed for people with tech-savvy on the level of a grandmother who still thinks television is miraculous. They would have "labs" where you'd create a folder on the desktop, move the folder, rename the folder, and delete the folder. That was the "lab", but you had to document the whole thing in excruciating detail. My roommate later recounted that he'd never worked so hard for an easy A in his life.
Meanwhile I was giving my CompSCI professors heart attacks because after completing my lab assignment the right way in 5 minutes I did it again the wrong way because we technically hadn't covered loops.

They wouldn't even let our CS majors take the true CS intro course/easy Science credit course. My roommate was all "I'd like to learn HTML, so I'll take this silly sub-100 level class." The teacher just goes "Please. You can TA the class. Learn HTML that way."

I did not have an ideal college experience, so I wouldn't say this was a good idea. However, I did take an intro to computers class for the easy A similar to Monte's friend. The first class I could tell that it was full of foreigners who hadn't grown up around computers and people who just didn't "get" computers. After that class I just ended up smoking copious amounts of pot before the class to lower my intellect/interest in the class to fit in. I ended up with a 98 and my teacher wrote on the final test paper "I saw marked improvement in class, good job!"
Ouch. Guess I wasn't computer literate to begin with.

Your roommate tried to go for the easy class and the teacher didn't fall for it and redirected him to one more fit to his level?

Thanks Eppa!
Apparently there's an open beta for a CCG called Duelysts out. It's basically hearthstone except on a TBS square grid. The spritework is gorgeous, gameplay is about what you'd expect, F2P system is set up more forgiving fashion than HS. Seems pretty good. I just wish there were ways to speed up the animations and run the PC client in windowed mode.

TA stands for Teacher's Assistant, they usually wander around during labs and help students out when they get stuck with something.

In the spirit of fulfilling my general education requirements, I took a class called Western Religious Bioethics. As a bio/ biz major with zero training in social science research, the class was hard as heck. My final paper was 52 pages long. At the end of the semester, my professors called in each student (half the class dropped) to discuss their papers. They told me my paper was one of the best they'd seen and it was thesis grade material and they hoped to see me in some more classes. They handed me the paper, I was ecstatic and walked out.
When I was outside their office I checked my paper. I got an A-.
Incidentally I also got a B- in the class because I zero'd the midterm. I ate Dunkin Donuts after organic chemistry lab and think I double-poisoned myself, so I was out of commission day of the midterm.

I had to take something similar my first year because I was still undeclared. It was so mind numbing, but the worst part was how many people struggled. I just sat in the front row playing flash games the whole time.

All the asian dating sites ads are actually pretty tasteful. It's the stupid car ads that auto play a video that takes up your whole page if you accidentally hover over them that are bad.

Yeah sorry I have used Adblock for too long I assume others don't see ads either.
