I'd have taken the train otherwise. This heavily depends on rather you are look at the new EU or Legends series. I don't know the new eu, but legends(the old eu) I'd say the next sith would be Joruus C'baoth. Admittedly he's less sith and more insane clone but he did try to take Luke, Leia(her unborn kids), and Mara as apprentices. Ignoring him it'd be the Palpatine clone and Luke himself as the next sith pair. Don't worry, Luke got over the dark side thing. Or was Palpatine reborn before that? I .. honestly can't remember.

Actually think Lil/Hangarback is better than getting a Jace since Jace is too expensive for people to buy here. Then again you just sell for cheaper I guess

The Star Wars universe gets real complicated, but there's the entire Sith empire thing. I forget the details. I test/ present better on lack of sleep, it zeroes out the number of fudges I have to give and prevents me from getting too nervous or overthinking it. I took the MCAT on like 4 hours and came out fine. Good luck dude.

I'd have taken the train otherwise. Honestly, I couldn't tell you for EU, but based on the trailer alone, my suspicion is that in the new canon Luke is the only Jedi OR Sith (although I believe the recent comics that are Disney-canon imply Leia still has her Force powers. I guess that doesn't mean she's a Jedi though). Point being that pre-fall of the Empire there were only 2 Sith (Palpatine and Vader) and 3 Jedi (Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Luke). Because of the Sith Rule of Two and the Jedi massacre, it would make sense that that's it. Post-fall, we can only say for SURE that there's one: Luke. If he doesn't found the Jedi Academy, then there's no reason for there to be any more trained Force users. Maybe that's how the "ancient religions" get "forgotten" in the collapse of the Empire.

If they want there to be a new sith, they will make somebody up.

There's all the presupposing we can do because of established canon, etc. And then there's reality. Can we predict what's actually going to be written? No. But if I stopped having conversations about nerdy stuff because I remembered "Oh right, this is not real and logical. Someone's writing this and anything can happen," I'd pretty much never speak. ![]()

There's clearly a sith in the trailers. He's probably not Luke. So under the assumption that they're not using EU stuff, they'll make somebody up and its hard to stipulate. I don't know much about star wars though. I'm a Lord of the Rings guy. Carry on ![]() Edit: Oh and Gundam. If you want to debate Gundam I will fucking throw down and turn your brain inside out.

But if both Vader and Palpatine die and there was noone else, then how do Sith(s?) rise again? Just some random Force-sensitive guy turns to the dark side and decides to (try to) seize power?

Maybe like a form of communication that you can copy. Some kind of written communication... I know! They could make cutesy anime cartoons explaining force powers!

I think it's funny that they forget everything even though Han and presumably hundreds of millions of other people alive at the time are still around. Like, even without a system of recording, how do all these old people all agree to either die or never mention that time an evil empire decided to blow up ewoks?
