I'm not feeling good and too lazy to follow the exact exchange you had so I'm just speaking general.

I just call and then say "transfer me to retention please, I want a better deal but I dont want to yell at you." we talked about this a bit in my anthropology class. It's called negative reciprocity where they don't care about trying to build any type of relationship and are solely trying to gain a material advantage. I think the issue is that their retention rates are so high they dismiss you unless they think you're actually serious about transferring. They don't need to make you feel valued as a customer because your probably not changing due to contracts and/or the hassle of actually changing.

"But that is company policy." "yes but it's also company policy to fire anyone who gets caught doing it." (although in this case no one's probably going to get fired of even reprimanded.) In regards to shooting games I'm getting Halo 5 but I have relatively low expectations for it. Unlikely i'll try overwatch but who knows.

I have a ps4 and only use it for like a blu-ray player right now, (I'll prob use it more when more games come out). I'm getting an xbox in like a week. not sure what PES is but if you care at all about blu-rays ps4's nice I guess.

I don't even buy games in discs anymore, just digital download now.

(of course that would still be a diskbut you'd save some money) They all came out a long time ago, and I have never seen them bundled with consoles since the PS1 days. What I'm concerned with are noise (as quiet as possible), speed in general (boot up time, UI navigation speed, how long does it take to do things in the UI) and size (I need to transport the console around sometimes). Don't care about cards because I only play exhibition locally/Master League/career mode.

Don't care about cards because I only play exhibition locally/Master League/career mode. oh.k. I did a quick 5-10 minute run through on my ps4 to make sure I remembere everything and here's my thoughts I should note that I haven't tried to customize it at all really other then adding one of those custom theme things for 3 dollars. I might mess around with it more this weekend : Personally I find the ps4 pretty light and pretty quiet (it's about 6.2 lbs, a little too awkward to move around with one hand but I don't have big hands and I'm not that strong. doesn't seem super sturdy but I also think it would be pretty easy to move around. Noise wise I definitely don't notice it while I'm playing (its barely noticable even when I turn off all the fans in my room, tiny bit of noise when you first put the game into the drive but not much). although I should note I wasn't doing anything graphic intensive, just running around a bit in DAO and loading a new place or two. User interface seems a little awkward since it has a bunch of links to things that I don't care about and after you put the game in sometimes you have to move it a bit over to click on the game (if you played it recently its right next to the default thing it opens too, or you can press the playstation button to go to it automatically). navigating around the systems okay, you can hold down a button to get to a menu and bounce around with some stuff or press the button once and go to the main intro area. Not too bad once you get the hang of it but wish it would feel a little more streamlined. Booting seems to be really quick. overall though I like my ps4 other than the fact that I don't really have any games I play on it. It works its not too confusing. and now on to my other thoughts/complaints that you may or may not care about the main annoyance I have with my ps4 is that the charge cable for the controller is so short that its hard to play it while I'm charging it, think its about 5ft. if you've ever used an xbox 360 controller its right around half the length of the cord. my systems like 2-3 feet from my tv though but I think it would be an issue if you have a big tv or can't put your system in a perfect spot. I wish there was a more convenient way to charge it (I don't know if there's any accessories or anything I usually just charge it while I watch movies/tv shows). another small annoyance is that to turn off the system you have to hold down a button then click on a menu before you can get to a button that lets you turn off the system completely (no idea if this can be changed or not). Not a big deal but I would have preferred a power off option in the first menu that pops up. and finally the power button for the system itself is basically invisible and I still miss it a lot of the time although I rarely ever use it. one more major annoyance about playstation. in order to use a customizable avatar picture for your profile you have to download the playstation app on your phone and then get the picture on your phone. its free but its annoying. I think you can technically use your phone as a remote control, but I've never tried it more than once or twice and I think i wasn't that impressed with it. finally it won't read a normal remote. supposedly there's a ps4 remote out/coming out that controls it as well as 4 other normal things but I don't have it (I may get it for christmas though since I have my ps4, audio system, tv and soon to be an xbox in my room.) well that was longer then I was planning lol. hope this helps a bit and like I said about the xbox one, I'll review it when I get it.
