Without looking anything up, I think the one kid is Quicksilver. Only remember him from the X-Men Evolution cartoon series. Pretty sure he originated in X-Men, but I thought that its impossible for Avengers+X-Men characters movie to happen.....
Also random, but I'm in the minority amongst my friends that thought X-Men Evolution was good, just like Batman Beyond.
Edit: Nvm, legal grey areas.
i'm not goint to bother spoiling because we've gone way of topic. I liked x men evolution too, especially kurt. It just felt like what happened after the show was even cooler than what happened during it (by that I mean the little epilogue at the series finale). I would have liked to see the characters grow up more. still better then wolverine and the x-men though.
I loved the original but that was mainly just because I thought Cable was the coolest guy ever. (they really should have made a spinoff show with him)

I have a very beautiful friend Numy, but I haven't seen her in over a month, been busy with moving and setting up in her new apartment. Doesn't help that the reason we saw her more before that was that she'd suggest going to the bar so she could see the 'tender, now that they got together then broke up she doesn't have a reason to go there anymore. Well, on the plus side it means she's free! But you're a bit far, and she's not the talkative type at all. Interesting when she speaks but it's so damn hard to get her to, I don't even know that much about her hobbies.
I don't talk much in person either. She sounds like the perfect match. Let's do this Alaric. I'll even let you spec me winning a HS game.
"Hey gurl, I know you mentioned you felt the need to not travel and start over again, settle down a bit, but there's this swell and buff guy who's interested in you, he's pretty open-minded and doesn't talk much so you both could just spend time together watching scenery. You ever went to South Africa?"
Read Jojo's, watch Kaiji, tsk; TL;DR read my posts.
Alaric I was telling my friend that I was reading Jojo's and he said that I should be watching it instead.
Is this true? Did I fail to live up to the teachings of Alaric?
Please bless me with your elderly wisdom!
I'm not sure if elders' sight is still good... Also, screw that guy, just do both if you need. More seriously, I haven't watched the anime, but I believe that there'd be merit in reading regardless. It's a manga that was written and drawn almost 30 years ago, and the kind of atmosphere the author goes for (I think I mentioned that it's kitsch and all) is pretty different than what you'd read in more recent mangas. The over-the-top stuff for example seemed somewhat "genuine" to me in the manga, while I'm sure the anime builds on it in a deliberate manner (especially since it's become known for it in the meantime). Not that it's a bad thing, it's simply different, hence my "you should prob read it either way".
Also I typed "x-men kurt" in google and 3 of the first 4 suggestions were about fanfictions or Kurt x Kitty fanfictions in some way.
Whoa I'm not buff yet. Does she need a buff guy? Dam. Well the girls I met when I went to Joburg said I look younger than I am if I'm clean shaven. Maybe that's a substitute plus?
Jojo anime is quite awesome but I haven't read source so can't tell you if it does it poorly. That being said from what I read it's a faithful adaption.
Oh yeah I didn't mean it wasn't faithful, it's more in a... there's some sort of candor to it? You can tell the guys who made TTGL had a blast doing it, but the way it's over the top and keeps going is very deliberate. While something like Jojo's or Hokuto no Ken has some sort of naiveté about it, it didn't actively try to have that effect (well Jojo's didn't in part I, part II onward plays around it, then later it becomes clear that the author himself's pretty ham about his beliefs and view of humanity).
It's not necessarily a bad thing, it's just different, which is why I assumed the experience may be different between manga and anime, as the time gap gave insight (and the way it entered culture).
You guys are fighting not to hear nice things about you. Are all dads like this?
My head hurts. I may not have slept that well last night, but temperature being absurdly hot for April (something like 23°C around noon?) certainly doesn't help.
