For a lot of books of that type I usually end up reading the internet cliff notes version, which is, most of the verbose reviews and comments, critical and supportive. That's about as far as I'm able to get most of the time... often when it comes to the actual book I don't have the patience to deal with the way its written. Whenever you finish it I'm interested in what you think.

I don't have issues with the tokens, but they're butt ugly, even for anime gurl drawing, they're pretty low quality.

I do not play magic, I will most likely never ever play paper magic. However, I'd buy these tokens. They are as the kids say total adorbs. The fact that people are upset over others using this and would refuse to even play against someone using these makes me want to break open a bottle of jack and drink until I realize it's monday.
It's like no one remembers when this game was considered satanic by half of the American bible belt due to how it looked. What the hell is happening to society that they'll shit on Christians and religious folk in general for being prudish backwater hicks while being offended by anything slightly out of there comfort zone to the point of wanting to never see it/ban it from use because it might offend someone.

honestly the only token I see potentially being a problem is the wolf one. people are weird. that being said I can kind of see both sides and think there's a line somewhere between what should be acceptable. whether these cross that line I don't know but I'd lean towards no.
also personally I hate them because there not very good visually and I hate that cute style of animation. xD

they're just plain ugly, if they had some quality drawings for the token it wouldn't be so cringe worthy. Like, the sexy look is fine if they just had better artists drawing um.

definitely agree on the art. I personally don't go for the whole sexy anime thing but I'm not offended by it or anything. anyone know where to get cool deck mats?

Ugly or not(I don't think they are) people getting all moral brigade on them is laughably sad as you know these are the same people who talk about being inclusive and progressive while saying they wouldn't allow these because it might offend some poor helpless person unable to come to grips that the world is a very large place full of things they might not like.
