At the end of the day you get dumb people doing dumb stuff. It's why any kind of male movement gets shunned quickly because the radfem people are terrified of actual equality. A bit sad but society does seem to be slowly moving. A stay at home dad isn't as rare or "weird" as it once was. | ||

I remember having a discussion with some politics major one drunken night around a hubbly about this so the info may be incorrect. Basically your sex is what your body is or isn't, that's determined biologically where as your gender is how you "place" in society. So a Trans female would be biologically a man but views herself as a female which creates a disconnect between her body and brain. At the same time being trans has nothing to do with sexuality which is a whole other concept of attraction that is viewed as more a scale than binary these days. That's just my limited understanding so not sure how accurate it is. Seems reasonable to me to seperate the 3 aspects since people are rather complex creatures. As for feminism I think it's more about other people not being dicks to females for no other reason than they females on a more coporate/social scale than personal scale that is. That's more so than them personally being decent human beings. Meh everything really boils done to people should just be decent human beings ffs. the important thing to realize is that human rights is in general a "boring topic" so the fact that so many people are like emotionally extremely involved in feminism is a hint that a lot of the shit is overplayed so more people can feel like they're personally really oppressed. its the same shit in r/theredpill type shit where they blame a lot of things on evil feminists trying to put them down for being men etcetc in the end its popularity that defines the strength of the movement not how ethically good it is. its the same thing that drives religion and politics, as long as you have an outward message that sounds good enough to explain to someone who knows nothing you can get away with a lot because the self centred people will always outnumber the "good guys" im just interested in what attracts people to these kind of institutions, I just thought it was very interesting how all the sexist womens sites are all about coming together to bitch about a common enemy and talk about how much of a victim they were while the sexist mens sites are all about how to act in social situations and self-improvement style steps to take in order to maximize your job success and pussy lol it fits stereotypes so well its ridiculous edit: the r/theredpill types tend to fit all the feminist negative stererotypes in terms of only wanting women for sex and being super self centred and caring only about their own success and I imagine it works vice versa too pretty cool | ||
