And now for something completely different:
So, when I go backpacking overseas, I used to take a solar powered radio with me, just for emergencies. Only time I've ever used it was in Orissa in India, and that was because I had hired a car and my driver didn't have a radio, and we wanted to get Bollywood music while we drove around. It was pretty fun.
Anyway, I now have a tablet and a smartphone and a bunch of other high tech devices, and I don't really want to bring the radio when I go to Asia in a month because I'm bringing all these new things.
However, neither my phone (Nexus 5) or my tablet (Nexus 7) have FM chips in them or whatever you need to get local radio stations.
So, here's the question.
Is there a little dongle or something that I can plug into my phone/tablets USB port that will let it get local FM radio stations the way that a phone with FM support would be able to do?

I know there was some stuff mentioned about various phones. What are people's thoughts on the LG G3? Have yall heard good/bad things about it? From what I've read, there are some concerns about battery life, but I don't really use my phone enough to really be concerned about it. That and I'm planning on rooting + installing another OS there without all that LG bloatware(CloudyG3 or Cyanogen nightlies for it.) The phone looks pretty solid, and prices are dropping with the release of the new phones(samsung s6, iphone6s, htc one m9, etc)

The differences between film and digital are a bit above my amateur level, hah. I still appreciate the insight however, as I'm interested in learning those sorts of things.
You can browse 500px and smugmug to get inspired, or search flickr (fluidr.com is the better way to browse flickr) for Ilford Pan F 50, Kodak T-Max 100, or Agfa APX 25 which have very fine grain and will look similar to low ISO digital BW.
