I haven't been into the city in years though, last time was for business during April or May I think, so it was cold and windy, because the entire city is one huge windtunnel, at least Brooklyn was. I think this was when Citi Field was opening as well, so we stopped by to take a look at that. | ||

Ever since I moved to Florida I've missed pizza and bagels. Heck, I've even missed Jersey corn and peaches which are by far the best. Their "bagels" here are like fucking white bread they're so terrible. And most of the pizza is trash. Only a few local places that are okay, but it's still either doughy or burnt crust, never the crisp crust of NY pizza. Probably because of the water I guess, but it's just not the same consistency and taste. Heck, most rednecks actually consider shit like pizza hut real pizza, and not sponge cake with sauce and cheese. | ||

That's why it's a bit silly for Req to compare it to Chicago deep dish, because Chicago deep dish is made to be eaten in the restaurant, while NYC pizza can be eaten on the go/whenever.
