Also how come Hafu isn't really committing to any tourneys these days? The early PBE changes were promising and got a lot of hopes up. Machete enchantments in particular pointed to the potential for increased diversity, as cost-efficient itemization had previously been one of the problems hurting diversity. Unfortunately that was about as far as it went.

Doesn't stand up on the same level of Birdman, Boyhood, or even American Sniper (which I thought was actually pretty good). Gyllenhall was good but the "story" never really grabbed me. Although that could have been because a lot of it was spoiled in trailer (including the last line of the film) so that was a bummer. Boyhood should have been your jam man, it's like the perfect ago to speak to you! Jokes aside the story itself was pretty basic but just the whole filming it over 12 years thing is pretty amazing. I had to keep reminding myself that they weren't just using time appropriate props but everything was just actually time appropriate. I just never felt interested in Boyhood. It was way too long, and the main character is so hilariously different from me that I don't really see a way to connect. I just didnt get the point of the movie.

Also I happened to relate to the main character in several key ways but I can see how if you didn't the movie might fall a little flat.

The PSU is fine considering his stock setting don't reach 350. I think $450 is a lot to pay for a GTX970, at that point I'd just pay a little more for a GTX980.

its basically between the 970 and the 290x now. i had heard about the 970 not meeting their specs so i was pretty keen on the 290x but ill probably be using a 1080p monitor and the 970 still does better at that resolution and its like half the power and not so prone to over heating. (gonna over clock it a little) i wish i could get a 980 so bad tho. was thinking about the 650W psu same make becuase it comes in semi modular which is nice. but its already more than i need.

Cheapest 980 is $528, the 970 you have is $448 when they cheapest 970 is $320. You're already looking to pay a massive amount for a minimal improvement, that at that point you might as well kick in more for a 980. I'm currently running a similar machine on a 500W semi modular from Corsair and it's running fine. Granted, I'm not overclocking my CPU right now, but the CPU would have to literally triple in power consumption to outstrip the PSU.
