I'm probably biased because it was my first MM game. Objectively people agree 2 to be the best, but I just can't get past my own bias to agree

That is not what he said. He said that the staff supported the game despite the negative comparison to BW and even heavily moderated the "SC2 vs BW" debate. He then says that they didn't do these same things for LoL even though many of the arguments used to support SC2 and "esports" still apply to LoL, which is true.
I just finished watching that video and I agree with everything thorin said and anyone who disagrees can fite me.
