The pace of it is soon slow That's generally how D&D works. 5 day travel? Happens in 10 seconds. 5 minute fight? Takes 10 hours.

I'm excited and don't mind staying up a bit later than normal, but I do have work and a long night tomorrow with New Years Eve celebrations. Really hoping it'll be 3 hours maximum, which is also how long I'm aiming for the weekly stream to be when that starts up. We'll have to see.

Well, fingers crossed that they get into action quickly enough. I mean, this session is going to be a bit more on rails than the actual game, mostly because I'm hoping to test things out in general. The radio towers are actually super important to the storyline, and it gets far more interesting the longer you go on. its like if you watch game of thrones and spend your time "i really don't care about this little boy who fell off a tower, why does this matter". well it kind of leads to a lot of things.

ASoIaF 5 is on my list, but I'm in a rather D&D type mood (whar), so I think I'll stick with The Sundering for now.
