But I just don't use punches enough, I think it's the 6-buttons setup that gives me trouble and I instinctively use kicks most of the time. Maybe I should invert my punches and kicks inputs to see if I lose the reflex. Especially since using j. HK tends to give free damage to my opponent in air duels.KoF has 4 buttons, and touhou fighters only have "3" (physical normals, light projectiles, heavy projectiles, there are 6 buttons but the other 3 are dash, switch cards around and use a card, so you mostly use 4). If I fished/poked more maybe I'd find more openings. Gotta check which normals are overhead too to mix them in blockstrings. Rest is mostly general gameplay I feel. Not bumrush as much, learn when to block and when to poke when we're both close, how to actually get close without jumping or giving away the initiative. Not use heavies as much so whenever I have a hit-confirm I don't immediatly knock the opponent down/away. But mostly learn how to poke/approach properly, and the fast normals to use in stand-offs to get priority. Then force my fingers to obey that. Hardest part. :<

EDIT: also Jon Galt its sooo much better now. though you could probably turn off the games background music in the options so we don't get this weird ambient music in the background of the modern music

Maybe I'm just nostalgic about LotR, but I feel like the CGI and green screen in the Hobbit films are so much more widespread and conspicuous than in LotR. And it also seems much more obvious when they're forcing perspective or cutting shots because of the size of Bilbo/the Dwarves compared to Humans and Elves. Maybe I was just looking for nitpicks. No you're right, don't you worry your pretty little head. I really think the Hobbit movies were unfortunately carried by their predecessors, I just don't find them as good. They're far more formulaic and gimmicky.

I think they're fine as movies, if a little draggy, could have easily been two movies instead. It's just the CGI that was bugging me.
