Thoughtsteal gets a Velen's Chosen and my Enhanco-mecano, both played in the following 2 turns to give him huge tempo swing each time. RNG. o/ "Oh hey you just got good cards. Know what this means, right? They'll be used against you." And some usual topdeck on top of it when I finally stabilise. Also 2+ Nova for my first opponent. Well no shit I end up 2-3 most arenas when I get faced with shit like that even when I get offered decent cards (which is getting rarer and rarer). Also managed to mulligan into 4 4+ cost cards when more than half the deck is below 3 (3 is more than a third by itself). | ||

I just can't figure it out but for some reason priest for me is like instantly worse than it used to be and I've gotten runs with 3, 5, and 6 wins. That's bad by my standards. | ||

Yeah I have given up on shamans since before GvG came out, and continue to do so. Priest like you said used to be 12 wins almost assured if I got just good cards, don't even need great. Now it just seems like other classes get so much more value it's hard to keep up. If you don't get a turn where you play something + shadow madness you're like permanently behind unless they walk into holy nova (and you have it). I'm sort of happy though that mage really only got one OP new card (Unstable Portal) otherwise they'd be a bitch to deal with. Rogue is solidly #2 now, had my first 12 win run last night on the back of some iron sensei + jeeves combos. | ||
