And sometimes... I finally cleared the Hunter's board, I have 6 health left and for his turn 5. Two Shield Blocks and Shieldmaiden in hand so I just need to live this turn and I win. There's no way he can do 6 with only 5 mana, Kill Command + Webspinner doesn't leave him enough to Hero Power, he can't double Kill Command, nobody runs Arcane Shot, I'm good. I'm safe. Yeah, our next reviews will hopefully be good as well. My department has had a really fucking good year, and we haven't been wholly recognized for it by the company, but we're expecting extra funding in the next couple years to expand and actually hire more people (which we've been in dire need of since I started almost 2 years ago). And I say he's my boss, which he technically is, but he sits across the cube aisle from me and treats his job more as a colleague with more general influence. Easily the best boss I've had, and if there's any bonus compensation to be had, I'm sure he'll be pushing for it to go to us. RNGsus knows he deserves more compensation as well. | ||
