(if this is now a league feature it's news to me) I'm not really disagreeing with you, but there's a million free games out there with different currencies to sink time into in addition to the games I already own but haven't finished. So if I want to unlock things and I feel like a free game is making it grindy or difficult I prefer to leave rather than stick around. For instance, back when I tried to play Planetside 2 I had some fun but because I am HORRIBLE at FPS games and currency gain was tied to kills/assists I easily earned less than half as much currency per hour vs someone who not horrible. That's basically the company saying that my time is half as valuable as other people's time because I suck. Why should I bother sticking around with that kind of elitist attitude built into the game? One thing though, I just went into HotS and I can't practice with any hero. Maybe you're thinking about Smite? That was a nice feature of Smite. Although as far as free-ness to play goes I admire DotA 2 the most for what it's accomplished. | ||
