Timmy Turner is one, off the top of my head (Fairly Odd Parents is totally anime...) Bart Simpson Probably the most famous example. Honestly it's probably harder to find young male characters actually voiced by little kids. Only examples that come to mind are Chowder from Chowder and I guess you could count Catbug (but that's an online show so the lines are blurred).

I would put more weight on the translations than you do. Moreover, practically speaking even if you keep on using "she" you're only going to cause more confusion because pretty much every English speaker thinks Kirby is a guy and by saying "she" you're telling people you think he's a girl. Historically speaking even with no gender "he" is the pronoun for unknown/non-genders, the main reason to not use it is if you've got a special concern that makes you want to usurp said convention (which certainly has become a more common attitude as people have switched to using "they" when possible). After a little more research; what little romances Kirby has had in the manga and N64 game also imply he is a guy given that it was (a) 90s culture and (b) in terms of probability most people are not gay. Metaknight is also the same race as Kirby and is definitively a guy so it would be odd if Kirby was genderless. So there no complete proof but, in my opinion, the evidence is heavily weighted towards guy. At the very least I would rather not get into an argument with everyone I meet about Kirby's gender when "he" can be perfectly acceptable for a genderless character.

Yeah that's pretty universal, apparently Ivysaur is female in P:M. Any idea if she was in Brawl as well on Pokemon Trainer?
