The QQ thread is that way, Alaric. I totally understand. This is why I don't really like seeing movies with friends. Hey, let's use our valuable and increasingly shrinking amount of time together to collectively watch a screen for the next 1.5-3 hours!
There are exceptions of course but oftentimes I'm left wondering why I needed to be with 6 other people to watch a picture when, for the same price, we could have gone out to dinner or something.
Sucks that it happened in game though. =(

I don't think that's the same thing at all. For anyone who has ever participated in games night, they'd know that you can definitely play games and be social at the same time, unlike going to a movie. Unfortunately if the people you are doing activities with are toolbags then yes, the purpose is defeated.

The more I see people post in the Shikyo and the LD QQ thread, the more I think it's them being shitters, then the people the play with being shit...

Elsewhere on TL if you complain about feeders and leavers in a game where you went 0-8, you will be rightly lambasted, but the qq thread is a shitter sanctuary.

Yea my cousins are really into board games and whenever they come upstate I always end up playing a new board game they bought. I Love it :D we did smash up, space munchkins, and a citadels, dominion. Quite alot of fun. Another good one is cards against humanity.

I'm not saying that every game night is like that, I'm saying that I understand how a games night that *is* like that sucks. Games are more interactive in general but that doesn't mean that the people playing them will take advantage of that.
