Oh I'm not saying they're not "fine". But I sort of got the habit of assuming everyone I meet and start talking with has some issue they're not mentioning at first but that's gnawing at them and behind the veil they're actually unsatisfied about their life.
When I think about it it's very negative and I'm not yet to the point where I just include it into how I talk to them (like I don't mention they "mandatorily" having an issue until they do) but empiric evidence has been piling up so... not saying everyone is like that, just that the kind of people I meet are like that.
Some may have actually suicided considering the brutal lack of news from them. Ended up being blunt to one of them and saying "It's not like I enjoy feeling badly and I have some issues of my own to deal with, so I'll avoid getting too close to you if you really wish to kill yourself in the upcoming year ["before I hit 30", is 29 this year] and there's nothing to detract you from it. It may be selfish but I'd rather spare myself the pain" since I was in my stressful period with light medication. Don't think it was received too well, hasn't received any news since.
Then again most people have given really bad reception to real honesty including those stating that honesty was one of the things they value most. And I don't think avoiding me after that was the most honest way to tell me how they disliked it. Hypocrisy. o/

Most people aren't as happy as they seem and have a whole bunch of personal issues going on that you don't know about. This really isn't something specific to you or should be news to you at this point in life.

Oh I know, it's been like that for a few years already for me. It's just that most people would still look at you funny if you straight up told them that you think everyone is fucked up in the head and neurotic by "public" standards.
