Save money for BL-Pre-sequel next week so I have someone to play with(or maybe multiple someones, Asmo said he's getting it too and somewhere Botswana Internet aka Dubstep aka Swim is probably getting it if his internet will let him play nice with others).

"Yasus" is basically "geez"?

Yea, it's actually Jesus but don't think anyone uses it as that anymore.

I stopped by the local comic shop and checked out the 40k codices and what the frig they're $50 now. That's ludicrous. 40k might be fun to play - I don't know because I'm not about to drop a hundred bucks just for the RULES - but it's a total scam. I used to buy the codices just to read them and theorycraft armies, back when a codex was just 20 dollars. But now they're hardcover and cost 2 and a half times as much. Silly.

Haha all the old SAs here use it all the time. 6ah you should setup a fund for the winning mafia team to celebrate with beer, hookers, and frivolous online purchases.
Red, swim still exists?

Looking at my W2 for the year, I'm dangerously close to being in a tax bracket that will WRECK me come April. I'm already in a new one this year, but I could jump 2 which would not be a good thing for me right now.
I should get someone to do my taxes this year lol. Time to max out dem 401k's.

Yeah, the actual model prices have fluctuated quite a bit, but the book costs are the things that have jumped too much imo. Still, they're all color now and very pretty.
Back in the day when I played as a kid (3rd or 4th ed?) you bought a bunch of codices for the story and collection aspect. Now people just by the ones they play and little else. Which is... fine I guess. With the internet I can get the lore whenever I want so it doesn't really matter to me. I flip through other peoples' codices at the store from time to time, or just download the pdfs.

0K Req this Rocketbirds OST thingy is actually fairly cool.

Wow. that youtube ad missed its target audience by a long shot.
Sitting here in orlando trying to watch a youtube video, the pre-roll is a Maine governor race ad.

MOTHER FUCK
I just spent the last like 4+ hours debugging code that does NOTHING
Literally, it queries the database to get a result (and the query was fucking stupid as shit, had to fix that for them), and then it gets that result...
AND IT DOES NOTHING WITH IT. The query that was erroring isn't used anywhere. It just hangs there until the function ends. And it was crashing the entire page.
If I ever find the developer who worked on this I'm going to strangle him.
