Although I wouldn't exactly the feeling I had while watching KlK "enjoyment". I had nerdchills at times, I was hit by feels once or twice and I wanted to rip my fucking hair out way too much. I swear that series would have been so much better if the character of Mako just didn't exist and replace all of that dumb shit either with monologues or have the godrobe talk instead. And yeah, it's only 8 hours. Half the time it took me to read Tower of God. | ||

I'm thinking that the quality has declined a bit lately, probably because he stopped giving us food for thought and relies on easier plot devices (like Yihwa wondering about Wangnan and himself acting like the shonen "I'll become strong!" character; even Rachel has been spouting corny one-liners like "let's shake/save this tower shall we?" with a grin in all her recent appearances). Knowing more about FUG, Viole's teacher and Hwa Ryun's motivations, was a huge bait to spice up the interest, and he never delivered on that (nor added more; we only have Koon calling Hwa Ryun an enemy despite not being told anything about her plans for Baam, or what she wants in general other than having him board the train. Worse, her "prediction" to Yihwa was a cheesy as fuck teaser directed at the readers, and fairly unlike how we've seen Hwa Ryun up to now). The fact that the next arc is presented like a typical shonen one (the workshop battle actually did a good job of placing stakes so that the tourney itself was only a mean and there were multiple plotlines leading to it; the "hell train" on the contrary looks like the plot device used to justify the arc rather than being used as the arc' setting) and that it seems it'll be centered around Wangnan and his whole "prince" shtick doesn't help. :< | ||

 I'm going to my first Magic draft soon though! Crash course on stuff I need to know about the current format? Keep in mind I don't think I've played a full real game since I was 11 or so. (I've played some of the 'Duels' series but only the free versions) | ||
